Chapter 25: Hell..is Loving Someone You Hate

Kate's POV< 

As soon as the doors were opened it hit me like a rock. The scent, the color, the feeling, it was circling around the room looking for it's next prey. The love that would never be returned. I stepped into the room with Lex right behind me. I could tell that he didn't want to be here as much as I did. 

I turned my attention towards the red velvet throne at the end of the room. On it sat a to proud verizon of what used to be my cousin. London. He looked older then when I had seen him last, his hair was darker, his eyes were brighter, and his muscles..were....well bigger. 

Hey, don't judge! I mean I still hate him and all but I have to admit he's hotter, then he used to be. 'Wait, what!! You hate this guy! He's the one who totally screwed you over and left you for dead!! You feel nothing for him!!' That's what I should have been saying. 

"Ah, Kate. Welcome." He said getting off hi throne and sauntering over to me. 

"London?" I question making sure that I really was looking at my jackass of a cousin. 

"So you do remember, wonderful! I was afraid I would have to help you," And in that instant he was in front of my with one hand on my cheek. 

"If you don't remove your hand from my face in 0.2 seconds, your not going to be able to have kids." I said through clenched teeth. 

He laughed, and turned away from me. "Feisty, I like it....but I like it more when its turned on someone else." He walked across the room to a girl, who had a black eye and blood running down her arm. He lifted the cover off of a small tray, picking up a small veil. 

At this point I thought nothing of the 3 big guards that had entered the room, 2 stood at my sides, and one was behind me. He grabbed a bottle of wine from one of the other servant/slave (I can't tell the difference), and came back over to me. 

The guards grabbed my arms, and the guy behind me grabbed my waist and squeezed really hard causing me to drop to my knees. London stood smiling over the top of me, he uncorked the veil causing a sickly sweet smell drift into the air. 

"Now Kate this won't hurt at all, well unless you resist." He smiled again and grabbed my chin forcing me to open my mouth and tilt my head back. 

I wiggled, and tried to punch the guys holding me but it was like punching two very big brick walls. Nothing was working and before I had time to think I had swallowed the mix, and it made me gag. My throat was on fire, my lungs burned, and my vision was blurry. The last thing I heard was, please don't disturb us for at least a hour.

When I woke up I was in a big bed in a dark room, deja vu. I hate my life, because as I turn my head I see a half naked London lying next to me. God, he so hot, I'm so glade that I'm in love with him. WHAT!!!!!  My mind yelled at me, I didn't really understand it but lying here next to him I finally understand the feelings inside me. They were all for London, nothing could separate me from him now. 

"Hey baby," He said opening his eyes and wrapping his arms around me. 

"Hi," I said cuddling next to him. 

"Look at me." He said tilting my face up to meet his, he leaned down and made his lips meet mine. I have never felt this before, the cold heat that was running down my spine. I crawled on top of his straddling him and kissing him harder. 

It hated this feeling, it was like it was possessing my body, making me do this, I can't stand it anymore it feels like I'm going to burst if he dosn't stop. This was nothing like when Avery and I kissed. 

Avery. 

The world was coming back to me now, Avery's voice, smile, words, body, the heat that he gave me when we kissed. I whipped my head back and literally jumped off him. London's smiled faded was replaced with a grim expression. 

"What the hell?" I yelled at him. 

"Oh, well it was worth a shot." He lazily rolled himself off the bed and walked over to me. 

"What did you do to me? Did you poison me?" I asked whipping my mouth with the back of my hand. 

"Honey, poison kills people. If I wanted you dead you'd be dead. No, I simply put a little love spell into your system." I rolled his eyes as if it were that simple. 

"Love spell, that dosn't exist." 

"Oh, yeah just like werewolf's, vampires, pixies, monsters, magic don't exist. You can't say that something dosn't exist because it does." He reached past me and grabbed his blue shirt on the chair. 

"I hate you." I said backing up towards the door. 

"I know, but you won't once I up the dosage on the potion."

And with that I was out the door, only to be grabbed by Lex. "God damn it!" I yelled at him storming on his foot. He didn't move. 

"Calm down, I'm going to help you." 

"Like hell you are." I said kicking his in the groin and running like hell. 

I ran down countless corridors, and hide in countless supp;y closets. Finally I found the main staircase, but there were fleets of guards coming down from them. I dashed in a near by room and ran to the open window not noticing the 4 people standing in the dark. 

I pushed it open but before I could get out someone grabbed me from behind and pulled me away. "Hey!" I shrieked again kicking the person hopefully in the groin. 

"Jesus, Kate!" The person yelled making me stop, and turn around. 

"Avery!" I yelled flinging my arms around his crouching body. "Oh, god, I'm so sorry!" I felt kinda bad now. 

"Nice to see you to." He manged and I smiled I couldn't believe he was here. 

"Kate, are you okay?" asked Aiden coming out of the shadows, followed by Mason, Conner, and Kathryn. 

"Yeah, I am now." I looked around and noticed that they had weapon in their hands and their game face on. 

"You ready to get out of here?" Avery asked me standing a little more off to the side. 

"I'm so over the kidnapping thing." I said turning around and kissing Avery on the cheek, while grabbing the left over knife on the bed. 

"Me to." He muttered as he led the way out. 

We raced up the stairs. not looking behind at the sounds of pounding feet behind us. When we reached the landing Kathryn worked on the lock, while the rest of us stood ready for a fight, but when we looked nothing was behind us. 

Nothing, but a very sad looking Lex. He gave me a small smile and waved me on just as the doors burst open and Avery dragged me through, letting me wonder what would happen to Lex.

SORRY IT'S SO SHORT!! I HAVE A PARTY THAT I HAVE TO GET READY FOR!!!! Anyways, hope you like it, guys...its nearing it's end I have like a couple more ideas, then poof! I's done!!! :(
