Chapter 19: So Much Pain

Avery's POV<

I carried Kate's limp body into the guest room, where when I set her on the bed I heard bones crack. I cringled at the sounded and was pushed out of the way by Mason who took me out of the room while saying, "You don't want to hear this mate." 

Everything was in slow motion, Diana hovering over Kate's body and Isaiah holding her hands down, and Kathryn and Drew holding her feet down. Meggie and Annie were crying in the corner, while Hilary tried to calm them down. 

Then Conner appered infront of me, I hadn't seen Conner in a while. I knew he kissed Kate, and that made my wolf scream in ange I tried to lunge at him but Mason held me back as Conner closed the door the screaming started.

I felt everything, the bone breaking, the blood moving agian, the re-starting of her heart, the scream that would forever haunt me. No one should ever have to hear their lover scream in that kind of pain and terror. 

Mason had taken me to his room where he scraped me to the bed and wouldn't let me get up. This pissed my Alpha off that my Beta wouldn't listen to me, but none the less it was good because I probably would have tore his head off if he let me up. 

"Ok, Aiden says it;s ok for you to get up." Mason said undoing the straps. 

I rubbed my wrists and ran out the door and to the guest room, where Isaiah and Kathryn and Mia where standing guard. 

"Let me through." I growled at them. I needed to see her to know that she was ok. 

"We can't do that." Said Isaiah crossing his arms. 

"I command you to move!" I said my wolf voice now in full force, I took at step towards Isaiah. 

"Avery, don't you make me come over there." Said Kathryn in a bord tone looking at her nails. 

Kathryn was essentially the only one who could beat me in a fight, even Mason was no match for me. I turned to Kathryn and came right up to her face. "Don't push me Kathryn, how would you feel if it was Isaiah in here, seeing him almost dead and or dying?" I could feel my eye turning bright blue.

"No, I couldn't because I would watch him and he's not stupid enough to get himself killed." She said. 

That pushed me over the edge, I grabbed her by the throat and slammed her up against the wall, "I said DON"T PUSH ME!" I yelled at her. 

I felt Isaiah's growl from where I was standing, even if they treated each other like crap they both loved each other. I squized Kathryn's throat and Isaiah grabbed me from behind, turned me around and punched me in the face. 

I smiled at spit the blood on the ground and lunged at him throwing myself onto him. I stood up and picked him up my the shirt and through him into a wall where his body crumpled into a heap. Kathryn ran over to his side while Mia moved closer but not to close. 

I ran into the room not caring what was on the other side just that Kate was in there and she needed me. I kicked the door down. 

I couldn't prepare myself for whtat was on the other side.
