Rain's pov We strode towards the front door where I found three cars waiting for us.I scan around and counted at least 10 men surrounding them.The car in the middle was kinda big compared to the rest maybe that's the one we'll be using but still all this people?
"Are we going to war or something baby?"I asked P'Phayu sarcastically.
"Rain?"Phayu said giving me the"really"look.
"Don't look at me like that, I'm just curious or should I be worried?How are we going for a family picnic with 10 guards?"
"Rain,"He said placing both his hands on my shoulders and shifting me towards his direction.He looked deep into my eyes,he seemed to be worried about something,"They are just around to ensure that we are safe.After the recent attack on us we don't know what may happen so don't you worry okay?"
"Did something happen again and you're not telling me?We don't have to go out if it's still not safe,"My curiosity got the best of me.
"Don't worry Rain, everything is under control,"I heard Vegas's voice behind me.I swiftly turned around, Vegas was dressed in a black jeans and a white strip red shirt.The combo looked good on him.Pete was standing beside him displaying a "it's okay"smile.
"Dear they are just there to watch over us nothing bad happened okay? Let's roll people!"Pete said while taking my hands and leading me to the car.
I left Venice and Vegas inside and all their eyes were fixed on me.I hope all is okay.After spending a few days with them, I connected with them.It feels like I've known them for like forever.I can't bear loosing any of them.
"Get in son,"Pete said while opening the car door.
"Hey V's how long do you plan on standing over there?We don't have the whole day!Pete remarked.
"We'll be down in a sec,"Vegas said.
"Father-Son moment huh?"Pete murmured.
They soon joined us and we set out for the picnic.
The traffic was clear and the weather was nice the perfect atmosphere for picnics. After a thirty minutes drive we got to our location.Behold the site was astonishing. The set up was besides a lake,you could feel the cold breeze hitting your face.There was a small shade that was made it could accommodate five to six people.All kind of snacks was there too.The drinks were in a mini refrigerator.All kinds of food were laid at the table next to the shade.Everything was organized systematically.
"Guys do you like my set up?"Pete asked
"Like?I loooveee it!"I answered excitedly.
"It's nice pa."Venice remarked.
"You've done a good job love but how did you find this location and reserve it on such a short notice? Vegas said.
"Ooh about that when I was still at the main clan Tankhun brought us here as for the reservation...aahh what's that look on your face?Are you mad baby?Pete asked Vegas with a big smile on his face.It seemed like he wanted to laugh his guts out but he was holding back.
"Don't tell me you're jealous, Tankhun and I had nothing and you know that damn well.I just liked the place and wanted to bring my family to see this golden view okay?"
We started smiling with Vegas's aura I never thought he could be jealous about something like this guess this is what love does to us.
"Who said I was jealous?"
Venice and I made our way to the shade leaving them behind to sort out their issue.
