We were all in a van. Tim's van to be exact. He let us use it so we could drive to see Kaden. Mom and Alex were in the very front, and she was doing most of the talking, getting his updated on any questions he had.

Niall and I were in the very back, enjoying the somewhat quietness, and just the fact that we were together. I don't think Niall knew how much it meant to me that he came with me. I mean, I know I wasn't going to come here if he didn't come with, but still. He didn't really hesitate to say yes. He had a pretty positive attitude about the whole thing.

I was sitting in the middle, and Niall was sitting to my right. He had his arm around me, and both our feet were resting up on the seats in front of us. I just stared out the window and got to thinking.

Was I ever here, in D.C? I mean, all I ever remember was living back in Detroit. I know Roger would come here most of the time, since we had a house here, too, but I don't think I've ever been to it. If I have, I must have been very little.

Kaden lives with Todd about a half hour away from Alex. Tim lives in the northeast part of D.C, and Todd lives in Burke, southwest of D.C.

About 10 minutes in the ride, we crossed over the river. Niall nudged my shoulder. I looked up at him, with my eyebrows raised.

"Look!"

He pointed out the window, and we were passing The Pentagon. It looked bigger than I had ever imagined it.

"Have you ever been in D.C.?" He asked.

I shrugged. "Not that I know of. I imagine I probably was when I was little, but I don't remember it."

He nodded and looked back out the window. I think he was enjoying this more than I was. As long as no one found out he was here, I think we were going to be alright. The last thing I wanted was paparazzi on our tails.

We pulled up to a house, white with red brick. It had a short black driveway, and a sidewalk leading up to a blue door.

Mom walked up to the door, and rang the doorbell.

I was too nervous to look up at who was at the door, but I knew it was Todd when I heard him say that he'd been waiting for us. He let us in, and I was the last one in. I was no nervous, I could feel my heart beat at what felt like a hundred miles per hour. We were led into the kitchen where Todd said Kaden was. I slowed my pace, and I felt a notch in my throat.

Niall turned around, and came back to help me in. I felt like I was completely restricted to walk. I didn't know I was going to be this nervous. I didn't really know in the first place why I was nervous, but I think it might have had to do with the fact that this was my twin.

Once I got through the doorway, I saw him. He had his back to us, and he had a book next to him. He was eating what looked like cereal, even though it wasn't morning. It was actually starting to get dark.

I could see his dark brown hair, that was styled sort of the same way Louis' is. He had muscles. Big muscles. Not as much as Alex, though.

Todd did one of those 'clear your throat' things, and Kaden turned around, his eyes getting a little bigger once he relized there were four strangers in his house.
