Haha I'm sorry about the cliffhanger, but I had to add at least some excitement to it :P

I haven't had a cliffhanger in a long while, so it was just bound to happen!

Anyways, I hope you like this chapter! (:

JUST SO YOU KNOW!! ::

I'm staying up on a school night to write this, so this is literally going to suck. I've just been so excited for writing this ;) hehehe

Love you

Niall's P.O.V

As I sat there in the chair with my head in my hands, I was focused on the one noise I could hear. I listened as closely as I could to the beeping of the heart rate monitor, just praying that I wouldn't hear a flat-line.

I kept track in my head of how many seconds were in between each beep, listening whether they were speeding up or slowing down.

1...2...beep. 1...2...beep.

It was just a steady beep with two seconds between each heartbeat.

1...2...3...beep.

I felt like my heart itself was slowing down, yet speedy like a racehorse. As the beeps started to get slower and slower apart, I felt like I was going to explode, or that I was going to pass out. I started to get lightheaded, and then I felt a buzz in my pocket. It was a call from Louis.

I slid my thumb across the screen, and put it up to my ear, standing up from the seat in the hall, and began to pace.

"Louis!"

"Hey, Niall! I was thinking, - "

"Louis, not right now!"

"What? Why? What's wrong?"

"Cole, sh-she started coughing a-and there was blood-"

"Niall, you've got to slow down, what's going on?"

"Louis, she's dying!" I felt a knot in my throat, and I ran my hand through my hair, pacing back and forth in front of the door, and then I heard it, the solid line I was hoping to never hear. I felt my phone slip from my hands, and I felt like my knees were ready to collapse at any moment. I felt my eyes begin to water, and I couldn't take it.

I heard a loud clang through the phone causing me to grimace a bit from such a loud noise all of a sudden.

"Niall?" I asked. "Niall?" I repeated.

"God dammit," I whispered under my breath.

I ended the call, and dialed Liam.

I tapped my foot, impatiently waiting for him to answer, and after 3 rings, he finally did.

"Hey, Louis, what's up?"

"Liam, call the rest of the boys and get them to the hospital, now alright?"
