Once we reached the house, all I could really do is just stare. The house was amazing. The entrance doors were big and a deep red wood. It had two columns in the front holding up a balcony on the second floor. The house itself was red adobe, but it looked like it was painted over to be tan. There was a three car garage on the side. The windows on the house were all the same except for a few, that were stained glass. We all piled out of the van, and I was still staring. I had to make sure my jaw would quit dropping every time I saw a beautiful feature of the house. Sure, I lived in a big house in Detroit but this...this was massive. I guess it has to be when you've got 5 boys living in the same house.
Niall had looked over at me first to notice my eyes fully concentrated on the house. "You alright there, love?"
I broke my concentration and looked back at him. "Ya, it's just...wow."
He just smiled simply and responded, "I know..I was surprised about it to when we first moved here."
I just nodded not knowing what else to do, and everyone just led us on into the house. We walked through the large doors only to find ourselves in the living room. It had leather couches and a big screen TV against the wall. Everyone went over to the couch so i just quietly followed. Niall, Harry, and Zayn sat on one couch, with Liam and Louis on another. I walked over to the brown leather chair and just sat there with my knees brought up to my chest.
After an awkward silence, Louis spoke first.
"So..what do you guys want to do now?"
Everyone just shrugged. Surely there was something to do in this massive house.
"We could go play volleyball."
Volleyball? Don't tell me now they have a volleyball court somewhere inside the house. I looked behind me, to see a door leading outside, and sure enough, there was a volleyball net out in the yard. At least it wasn't inside the house.
Everyone nodded at Zayn and then looked at me. "You play?" I looked back at everyone else. Play? I remember in Middle School I was on the Varsity Volleyball Team both years. Of course I played.
"Ya, I play. I use to play all the time when I was about 13 and 14. I haven't played in awhile though so I'll try. Is there anyone I can go change first?" I was wearing skinny jeans and a sweater. There was no way I was going to play volleyball wearing that.
"Ya, down that hall and the second door on the right."
"Thanks." I flashed a quick smile, grabbed my backpack, and walked down the hall. I walked through the second door to find myself in the bathroom. I looked at the face looking back at me in the mirror. My hair needed to be fixed. I pulled out by brush, brushed out all of the tangles, and through my hair into a tight bun.
I took out 1 out of the only 3 outfits I could fit inside my bag: black shorts and a solid blue tank top. I put on some deodorant expecting to sweat and fixed my makeup. I walked out of the bathroom, set my bag by the front door, and walked back to the back door only to find the boys throwing the volleyball at each other. I let my presence known by letting out a little cough and they stopped almost immediately.
"Who's team am I on?"
Liam then pointed over toward Niall and Zayn. "Their's."
"Alright."
I kicked of my shoes so I was barefoot, and walked over to Niall and Zayn.
"How do we want to stand?" They looked at me with faces of confusion.
"You know...positions." They both looked at each other and then back at me.
"Oh my god..." I whispered to myself. "Zayn go in that corner and Niall in the other. I got the front."
