*Colena's POV*
I still can't believe what I did. I guess it was just one of those spur of the moment type of things. Well, now that everyone new that I have cancer, I think things are going to get a little more crazy. By crazy, I mean absolutely insane. I didn't even want to experience what the first dose was going to be like. I need to get out. Our of this house. The probably won't be home for awhile, so I should be fine.
I got off the couch, still tired as hell, and grabbed my beanie. I put my ipod in my pocket just in case and headed outside. I was relieved when I didn't see any paparazzi outside the fence. I punched in the code to open the gate and finally I was out. I definitely needed time by myself.
My Ipod actually came in handy as I plugged in my headphones, drowning myself in music. I started playing Mr.Saxobeat, as the beat was catchy and made it easy to forget the world around you. After walking for a bit, I had an urge. One that I hadn't had in about 2 months. I'll admit, at home when I wold sneak out at night, I would do drugs. Yes, drugs. I would smoke until about 3 in the morning, and come back home.
My parents never suspected a thing, of course, since they didn't care about whatever I did. I figured I would be able to work my usual magic and get something. I got into town, and started walking through the old alley I slept in when I worst got here.I could see a group sitting leaning up against the wall at the middle, where there was an intersection of another alley. I saw them raise something up to their mouth and pull it back, with smoke leaving their mouths. Perfect.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After spending about 30 minutes in the alley, I figured I needed to head home so the boys wouldn't know I was gone. I actually made some friends here. I met a guy named Kyle, but the call him Kazoo. Don't ask me why, they just do. I met a girl named Lily, but they call her Lollipop. I guess nicknames were pretty common around here. There were some other people, but I didn't really have time to meet them all. I said my goodbyes and actually was able to smile about something. I had made some friends.
I spent the whole time walking home smiling. I still couldn't believe how glad I was that they were so nice. I got just outside town and walked up to the gate. I punched in the code and pushed it open. I walked up to the front door, and pulled out my key. Once I unlocked the door, I walked in looking at the ground. I shut the door behind me and saw 5 pairs of feet on the ground. I slowly looked up to see the 5 boys standing in front of me with their arms crossed. Shit.
"Where have you been?!"
I pushed past them. "Out."
I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a water bottle.
"Define out!"
I shrugged. "I don't know. Outdoors. Outside. Not inside. Out in the fresh air. Clear enough?" I walked over to the couch and plopped.
"Why?!"
"Because I didn't feel like staying inside all evening. Okay?"
Zayn jumped in.
"We were worried sick."
I just looked up at them. Were they serious?
"What's the big deal?"
They all sat around me. "We were worried. You didn't leave a note or anything. We didn't know where you went."
I let out a little smile. "Guys, trust me. I was fine."
They all gave me another look. This look was different though. They got a little closer, and a backed up.
"What?"
