I'm sorry I've been so behind on updates lately. This has been exam week so I've been doing homework non stop to get exam packets done. I have 2 exams left and then school is done! Which hopefully means more updates (:

*Cole's P.O.V*

I froze with my hand on the doorknob. What was Pete doing here, and how the hell did he find me? Did he fly all the way here, or what? I didn't really want to go out there, but I had to. Who knows how long he would wait there, or if he would come back. I can still remember how much Peter was patient. He could wait for hours to get anything he wanted.

"Who's Peter?" Niall asked me, standing right behind me with his hand on my shoulder.

I turned around to face him.

"He's a friend from back in Detroit. I've known him for a long while since we went to high school together."

"So, then why is he here?"

I shrugged. "I have no idea, and I'm not sure if I want to find out."

"You want me to go talk to him?"

I shook my head.

"No I probably should. He's my friend and he's probably all confused about everything anyways."

"Alright, you want me to come with?"

I shook my head again.

"I'll be fine. It's just Pete and he'll probably feel better if I went alone."

I turned and opened up the door, stepping out into the chilly air, in just sweatpants and a tee shirt. I took a deep breath, and saw it in the cool air, giving me goosebumps. My feet felt like they were freezing against the concrete, so I walked quickly over to the gate. I punched in the code to open them, and as soon as they were open just a foot, Pete had pulled me into a hug.

I stumbled back, a little surprised, as it felt as if he was squeezing me to death. I slowly put my arms around him, until he finally let go.

"Pete, what are you doing here?"

"What do you mean, what am I doing here? What are you doing here?" I saw him look up at my beanie.

"Haven't you heard already? Have you not been paying attention to the news at all?"

His eyes were still focused on my beanie.

"Pete!" I caught his attention and we met eye contact.

"What?!"

"My eyes are down here!"

"Sorry," he barely said loud enough.

"Answer my question!"

"What question?" He asked me.

I sighed. "Oh my God, help me. Pete, what are you doing here?"

"I came to see you."

"But, I mean, how did you get here?"

"I flew."

I squinted at him.

"You flew all the out here to see me?"

He shrugged.

"That's not all of it completely. I mean, we're on Christmas Break and my family wanted to go somewhere on vacation, so I recommended London."

"So, you convinced your parents to come all the way over here, just so you could come see me?"

He nodded.
