"Are you sure you wanna go through with this?" Yoongi questions, stopping the car in front of Nicole's boutique.

Nia nods her head, "Yeah, I wouldn't be here if I wasn't. I'll be right back." she exits the car and strides inside the store.

Nicole is seen preparing to open, organizing everything and whatnot.

Nia approaches her, "I'm not working here anymore."

The older looks up at her, "Huh?"

"You heard me." Nia replies, "I quit."

Nichole furrows her brows, "Why?"

Nia shrugs, "I don't need this job anymore." Nicole scoffs, "Because you have 3 men taking care of you now?"

Nia quirks a brow, "My niggas have nothing to do with why I don't want to work here anymore. You're a total bitch, I've been working here for two years with no pay raise, and you even said yourself that you barely even want to pay me, so why should I stay?"

Nicole rolls her eyes, "You are so over dramatic. You never asked for any type of raise and you're no less of a bitch than I am so I honestly don't see what you're talking about."

"But if you wanna leave, then go. I can find another employee. Let me go grab your check." Nicole says, turning around and heading towards the back of the store.

Nia expected Nicole to blow up on her about leaving, maybe even beg her to stay a little, but she seems to not give a fuck.

It doesn't take long for Nicole to come back to the front holding a white envelope in her hand, which she reaches to the younger, "Thanks for working here."

Nia takes it and nods, "Mhm, talk to you later." Nicole waves a goodbye as Nia leaves the store.

Yoongi looks at her as she enters the car, "So, how'd it go?"

"It went well. She gave me my check and thanked me for working there." Nia shrugs, sticking the envelope into her purse, "Now I can focus solely on Onlyfans."

He nods as he starts the car, "Okay, but do you have a backup plan?"

"For what? I mean, it's not like I'm gonna blow all of my earnings. I plan on getting a savings account and going about this in a smart, strategic manner." she gives a curt, determined nod.

Yoongi hums as he pulls off, "Okay, you mind coming with me to the grocery store? I need to stock up at home."

Nia shrugs, "Sure, but wouldn't it be a waste since we're always at Hoseok's?" he shakes his head, "I'm
mostly getting snacks and meats that I can keep in the freezer."

They go on to debate about which breakfast cereal is the best/most nostalgic as they drive to the grocery store.

"You can't change my mind. Fruit loops are like a staple in everyone's childhood." Yoongi says, searching for a parking spot in the hectic parking lot at Walmart.

Nia shakes her head, "No, even though I'm not a big fan of it, Frosted Flakes are definitely a more prominent staple in my childhood."

"And why'd you choose to come to Walmart on a Saturday?" she questions, already knowing she's going to witness some sort of craziness.

He chuckles, "Cause it's cheaper than Whole Foods." she can't argue with that, following him out of the car after they park.

Yoongi grabs ahold of her hand, entangling their fingers together. Nia smiles softly at him as she swings their hands back and forth.

He briefly licks his lips as he looks down at her, "Hey, why do you and Hoseok argue so much?"

Nia's smile diminishes as she grabs a cart, "What do you mean?"

He gives her a knowing look, "You know exactly what I mean."

She sighs, "I don't know, okay. He just doesn't fail with getting on my nerves."

"But what happened? You used to be all head over heels for him, now you can barely look at him without scowling. You know he's starting to think you don't like him anymore?" Yoongi says, leading the way towards the produce aisle.

She blinks, "Wait what? He feels that way?"

He nods, "Yeah. He didn't say it outright but he said that he doesn't understand what he did wrong."

Nia runs a hand over her head, "I didn't mean to make him feel that way. I-I feel like shit now."

Yoongi shakes his head, "It wasn't my intention to make you blame yourself, I know it's not entirely your fault. I just think you guys need to have a sit down and squash whatever underlying beef you guys have."

He picks up a couple of the produce bags, filling them with different types of peppers. Nia tilts her head which prompts him to chuckle, "We're running low at the restaurant. I would wait for our next shipment but we won't last that long."

Nia nods in understanding, grabbing a container of mangoes for herself, "Back to Hoseok, we don't have beef. He just has something to say about every little thing and it's annoying, and he's been throwing the word 'hypocrite' around lately."

"It's because every time he wants to have a conversation with you, you end up getting annoyed and dismiss him." Yoongi shrugs, pushing the carts down to the meats and inspecting them.

She goes to defend herself, but stops after realizing she's in the wrong for doing that, "Okay, I've been acting a bit immature. I just wish for how things were before, how he used to make me feel small but in a good way."

Yoongi snaps his finger, "When was the last time you two fucked one on one?" a few passerby's give him appalled looks but Yoongi isn't fazed, completely unbothered.

Nia thinks back on it, coming to the conclusion that it's been almost two months since she last slept with only Hoseok, dating back to before she was harassed.

"It's been a while." she admits and Yoongi hums knowingly, "This is a classic case of sexual frustration. You just need to be spanked and gagged again so y'all can be happy."

He receives more appalled looks by others due to that statement as well, but Yoongi remains unbothered as usual. There's no shame in his game.

Nia laughs, "Well okay, but how should I initiate it? I don't think he wants to be intimate with me at the moment.

Yoongi smirks while picking up an apple.

"Just be a brat."

😭😭imma just stop apologizing cause it's becoming repetitive, just accept that i'm an inconsistent author OKAY😭😭😭😭😭

but if anyone cared why i was gone, it's cause of senior things (tests, prom, graduation coming up etc) all while being SEVERELY depressed😀 i'm going to try to update at least once a week, but don't kill me if i don't please😭😭😭
