Warning: Violence, death

————————————————————————————

Once Dainsleif had left my tavern, I had just finished cleaning all the glasses and putting them away for Charles to handle tomorrow. With all the cleaning and prep work being done for tomorrow. I started to get ready to leave. Like Dainsleif said, this moment is best to leave before the storm returns. I decided to do one more run through of the tavern. Just in case something was left. But, as I had assumed, everything had been picked up and clean. While I was upstairs I made sure the door was locked. Then I came back downstairs and grabbed my coat that was hanging behind the counter and slipped it on. Then, I walked to the main entrance door and made sure it was securely locked. And finally, I left through the back door and locked it on my way out. Beginning my journey to the Dawn Winery, I can't help but think about Dainsleif, he walked in my tavern dripping wet because of the storm outside, alongside Aether. The way he shook off the water and ran his fingers through his hair...honestly what am I thinking? I shook my head. I wonder where Dainsleif has truly come from. He seemed sentimental about his homeland. It must have been a small city to have come to ruin. It makes sense that he is a traveler but why hasn't he at least settled in one place. I know Aether is the same way, but I figure it's best to settle down somewhere. Dainsleif's outfit is very extravagant, it's not like any clothing I've seen from the seven nations. Which also makes me more curious about where he came from. Perhaps I will get the chance to talk with him again. I was just about a quarter of my way to the Dawn Winery when I began thinking again. Dainsleif...what an exotic name. The couple times we held eye contact, I got a good look at his eyes. They are quite beautiful and unique. The beautiful cerulean blue and diamond pupils. I've never seen any like them. Although now that I think about it. They are like Kaeya's. How peculiar. I'll ask Dainsleif some other time he comes by. Other than his eyes, he's quite beautiful in general. Although his hair was wet, I could still tell it was beautiful. His hair reached to about his shoulders and was a light blond color. I hope I get a chance to see him again. After all he said he'd come again. Ugh, what am I talking about? He's just another person I happened to have a good relationship with. It's no different. However, I can't help it. Forget it, this is only our first meeting. I don't think we'll be seeing each other again soon. Especially if he doesn't stick around. The distance from the tavern to the Dawn Winery is quite the trip each time. I don't mind it though; it helps me clear my head after a long stressful workday. About halfway, I saw someone on the side of the road under a tree. The man has blond hair and is wearing a black outfit. Could that be Dainsleif? My heart skipped a beat after thinking about the possibility of him being there. As I got closer to the man on the ground. It turned out that the man wasn't Dainsleif. Just a bystander. Why was I thinking it would be him anyway? How foolish of me to get excited over that. This man doesn't even have the same blue eyes as Dainsleif. Or his nicely proportioned chest and his clothes that fit his slim body so perfectly. Tsk, what am I thinking?

"Oh, it's Master Diluc!" The man exclaimed, he jumped up and stood in front of me. "Could you spare a little mora for a poor man? I-I don't have much and I'm so hungry. Maybe even some free drinks at your tavern?"

"Considering you didn't even respect distance or my status in general makes me wonder why I should help you." I folded my arms and looked down on him. I don't normally use my status against people. However sometimes you need to remind people. You also must make sure the person "begging" from you is really in need. I've ran into plenty of fakers trying to take advantage of my money and helpfulness. He started fumbling with his fingers. He stepped back from me and dropped down to his knees and put his hands together.

"I-I'm so sorry Master Diluc. I'm so out of it that I forget how much authority you have. I promise I'll do better just please may I have some mora?" He persisted,
