It's bright and early for the sun has just risen moments ago. I had decided to take a small trip to Liyue the night before. I wanted to come up here and see the view from the mountains of Liyue. My claymore struck in the ground beside me as I am kneeled beside it. The cold breeze of the early morning blew gently through my hair. Although colder than usual, it felt wonderful. A couple months have passed now, and I came to Liyue to have a break from my usual activities back in Mondstadt. With the mandatory preparations of the Winter Solstice Ball approaching. I thought I'd take a few days to get away from it all for a bit. My injuries were just about fully healed and I had more than enough time resting. I wish I could have brought Dainsleif with me but I still think he needs to rest more. But I'm sure he too is itching to get out, just as much as I was. We are quite similar in that sense, can't stay in one place for long. I wanted to head to Liyue Harbor for a meal before heading back to Mondstadt. But that would take too much time and I already notified everyone back at the Dawn Winery that I would be back in 3-4 days. Normally it wouldn't be a problem to arrive a day or so late. But I'm sure that would worry many people there. With both me and Dainsleif getting injured. Showing up late probably wouldn't have the best outcome. Before my departure, I wanted to watch the sunrise. I watched the horizon and the view of the sun was barely visible between the two tall mountains. It was quite extraordinary to see. Once the sun had fully risen, I stood up and pulled my claymore out of the ground and put it away for the climb down. The easiest way down this particular mountain was to go behind it. There wasn't much climbing needed but there were still a couple areas that were steep. Once I had made it down the mountain all the way, I started on the path back to my winery.

I can never stay asleep once the sun is up. I've never known why. The most likely reason is because I'm never able to feel well rested after I sleep. I opened my eyes and yawned. I took a moment to fully wake up. My arm was feeling a lot better since I was hurt. My body takes a longer time to heal from injuries because of the corruption that is consuming it. I stood up from my bed and stretched. I'm sure if Diluc were here he'd yell at me for it. He's been gone for 3 days now, he should be on his way back today. In the time of his absence, Adelinde has been replacing my bandage and tending to my needs. It's been nice but, if I said I hadn't been missing Diluc, I'd be lying. There's just something about his presence being here with me. It's comforting. Though, as he told me before he left, he'd be here, no longer than 3 days. I walked over to the bathroom and completed all the morning necessities. Then, I decided I would go downstairs and figure out what to do till Diluc would arrive. He has quite the library here, so I have a grand selection of books. Or there's his recreation room although, most of the things in there are two person activities. I suppose I could take a walk around the Winery. I'm not wearing my usual attire still. Diluc's still been offering his extra clothing to me. Surprisingly, his clothing fits me, considering he's a bit shorter than I am. What I'm wearing now is a loose white long sleeve undershirt, with some black pants. They still smell like him, which brings me a sense of comfort and calmness. Adelinde did me the favor of washing my clothes and leaving them in the room for me until I was better. She had them folded up on the chair that Diluc had been sitting at that one night. Along with my armor pieces. I figured it would be colder outside considering it's now November and it's early in the morning. I put on my boots and grabbed my cape to leave over my shoulders to keep warm. It's the only thing I have after all. I slowly opened the door. I don't think Adelinde was still asleep, but I still wanted to be courteous. I quietly walked down the stairs. Adelinde had been standing in the lobby talking with another man.

"Adelinde. Could you pass a message onto Master Diluc once he gets home?" I heard the man say as I came down the stairs. She nodded, "The Cathedral has been reserved for this year's Solstice. Some of the left over wine for the year we will use for refreshments at the dance. Plus, other nonalcoholic beverages."
