As I watched Diluc drift off into sleep, I began studying his features. From his hair, his moon kissed skin, his visible scars, to his facial features. I was in awe of his beauty. What I would do to stroke his hair or brush my fingers along his pale skin....no, that would be improper. Although, I am honored that I was able to help him and that he let me help him. He's very stubborn when it comes to people wanting to help him. Which is something I have in common with him. I wanted to stay a little while longer while he slept. It didn't feel right to just leave because of what he said. I looked around the room and noticed that a candle was still lit by his bedside. I stood up slowly, careful not to make a noise, and blew out the candle. He stirred in his sleep and I froze. Taking a moment to make sure I hadn't woken him, I stepped back and sat on the edge of the bed where I had been originally. Crossing my leg over the other, I turned my head towards the window and admired the sky. The darkened room that had once been lit by the candle. Now was illuminated by the moonlight. I glanced back and forth between him and the window. Looking at him again, I noticed that he had taken his hair tie out. His crimson hair framed his face perfectly and the other was let loose alongside him. I could imagine how much work must be put in to maintain it. It's so long and beautiful, shiny, and not to mention seems soft. I then brought my attention to his face; the light blue glow of the moon lightly grazed over his skin. His lips were parted just slightly, making way for the small breaths that would escape from them. After watching him for awhile. I thought it may be best to leave now to retrieve his claymore.

"I'll be back, sleep well." I whispered to him, knowing full well he wouldn't hear me. Even with that thought, as I stood up, he stirred in his sleep and it looked like he had tried to reach for me as he turned to his side. "Diluc..." I whispered, I wanted to grab his hand and sit with him. Ultimately, I decided against it and headed for the door. I quietly opened it and closed it as I left his room. As I came out of his room, it was completely dark. With the exception of the moonlight shining in from the windows. Everyone must be asleep. I went down the staircase and straight to the front door. I pulled open the door and closed it as quietly as I could and headed out for the area where the attack had took place. It was a little difficult for me to remember from this direction. I don't usually come this close to the Dawn Winery. After a bit of walking and deducing the correct path. I found the place, and luckily, Diluc's sword was still sitting in the grass. I picked it up and carried it with me towards the lake. I wasn't used to a weapon this heavy. Still, it wasn't difficult for me to carry. I sat down by the water and pulled out my sword and then set Diluc's claymore down beside me. I took off the armor on my forearm and glove. I put the blade of my sword into the water and carefully washed off all the left-over dried blood from earlier. Once it was all washed off, I put it down on the grass to dry. I stood up and grabbed Diluc's claymore and tried to wash it off as best as I could. It wasn't that dirty, but I felt like I should rinse it off for him. Once I finished, I laid it down on the grass to dry. I grabbed my sword and put it back into its sheath. It disappeared shortly after that. I sat down next to Diluc's claymore and waited a bit for it to dry more. The beautiful full moon was illuminating the land as it had in the Dawn Winery. What a beautiful night, I wish Diluc wasn't injured, and he could enjoy this night as well. I stayed for a little while longer, then decided to head back to his manor. I grabbed my armor and glove that I had previously taken off and put each back on. Then, I stood up from the side of the river and picked up his claymore. It was difficult to figure out the best position to hold it in to carry it back. Finally, I figured out a way to hold it that was suitable for the way back. Upon my return, I tried to be as quiet as possible with the claymore in hand. I made it up to Diluc's room. Once I was inside I quietly rested the claymore down against the wall closest to the door. I looked over at Diluc to make sure that I hadn't woken him. Sure enough, he was still sound asleep. He must have been really exhausted. I walked over to the edge of the bed where I had been sitting originally. After sitting there for a few minutes, I started to feel tired from the past few days that I haven't slept. The pains in my body have been keeping me up at night. As well as night terrors, they're something new that have been occurring as of late. If you call in the last few years "late." I thought about laying next to him since his bed is so large. However, I didn't go through with the idea, it seemed too personal. As much as I would enjoy being next to him like that. Feeling the warmth of his body against mine. Listening to the sounds of his breath and heart. Running my fingers through his beautiful crimson locks...what a wonderful moment that would be. I am not used to sleeping through the entire night. So, falling asleep isn't the easiest. Not to mention when I am woken up, I don't usually go back to sleep. I almost always end up leaving to investigate the Abyss or change my location. I wanted to stay awake for him but my body was reaching its limit. I frequently shifted my gaze to different objects in his room. As a attempt to stay awake longer. His room was very beautifully decorated. The hints of pure gold in the wooded walls. The red accent color to match. It's an incredibly beautiful room. I started nodding off every little bit and then jolting awake. Finally, I gave in and fell asleep.
