Half-asleep and half-awake, it feels like I've been asleep for so long now. More than usual at least. Adelinde usually wakes me up hours from now, but she never did. I slowly opened my eyes and was immediately met with the rays of sun flooding into the room. I closed my eyes right away and buried my face in my pillow. I must have forgot to close the curtains last night. I was laying on my right side, which is the side that got injured. When originally, I was laying on my back. I hugged my pillow close to me and opened my eyes once again. The light didn't show any mercy the second time. But it was a little more bearable. I wasn't quite ready to move just yet. I didn't want to feel the inexplicable pain yet. I didn't really want to move. Mostly because I wasn't ready to feel the inexplicable pain just yet. I lifted my head up to look around the room. I noticed Dainsleif was sitting on the edge of the bed still. He was fast asleep, his arms folded and legs crossed. How is he asleep? I thought he would have sat in one of the chairs available in my room. Not remain at the end of my bed. He really stayed with me all night...I looked around the room and beside my door was my claymore. He fetched my sword as well. Why is he so....wonderful. Heat began slowly rising to my cheeks. I hid my face back into my pillow. I smiled at the things Dainsleif had done for me. I wish I could've given him a room rather than him falling asleep in such a uncomfortable position. He's done so much for me. I must repay him as soon as possible. I thought up ways of how I could repay him for all this. Anything extravagant that came to mind would have to wait till I'm healed. I'll talk to Adelinde about it too. I decided to finally move and get the pain over with. I moved onto my back and winced in pain,

"Ah, god." I whispered to myself; I took a deep breath. I shouldn't have even stopped to talk to that guy. After all, then I wouldn't have been injured and got Dainsleif involved. I tried assessing the pain of my injuries. Both my arm and my leg hurt equally, that much I knew. Straightening them out was the worst because of the position they've been in all night. I stared up at the ceiling for awhile. Then I heard a small knock at my door. I slowly sat up to the best of my ability.

"Master Diluc?" I heard Adelinde ask from behind the door. Dainsleif flinched awake from the sudden noises.

"Yes, come in." I answered back, he looked over at me, "Sorry." I whispered,

"Master Diluc. Apologies for not waking you up this morning." She bowed, "I felt it was best for you to sleep for longer." I turned my attention towards Adelinde,

"It's all right, Adelinde. I agree, I needed the sleep." She turned to look at Dainsleif.

"And sir Dainsleif, thanks again for staying with Master Diluc and helping him."

"It was my pleasure." He answered back, his voice was a little hoarse from just waking up. I must admit his voice being hoarse was...arousing to hear. It was something I wouldn't mind being used to. As well as his tired eyes and disheveled hair. He still looked good; I probably look like a mess now.

"Master Diluc?" Adelinde asked and pulled me out of my thoughts.

"Yes? I'm sorry."

"Ahem, Master Kaeya is here to visit you. He's been waiting for a while now." Adelinde said, of course Kaeya is here.

"What does he want?" I asked clearly annoyed,

"All he said is that, ahem, 'he just wants to see his dear brother'" I rubbed my temples with my fingers. I doubt that's completely true.

"Give me a few minutes and then tell him to come in." I ordered,

"Of course, Master Diluc." Adelinde then bowed and left. There were a few moments of silence before someone spoke,
