It's not hard for me to find something to do. There is always something that the Abyss is up to. As soon as I left Diluc's Manor, I headed towards one of the areas I knew the Abyss Order had been most active recently. I figured; this would be an effective way to pass the time before I return to the manor. I haven't been as on top of it because of Diluc's injuries. I'm honestly not too bothered about it. However, I'm glad I do have a moment now. As per usual the Abyss is up to their usual antics. Although, I have noticed a decline in their forces. I'm betting it was Aether who has been stopping them. As much as I hate to admit it, his help has been greatly appreciated. For me, I don't stick to once place. The Abyss see me as a thorn in their side so, naturally, they hunt me down quite often. This way if I leave Diluc's manor for a bit. They won't realize I've been staying there. I would hate if they found out I was staying at Diluc's manor. I wouldn't want to get him involved. Or have the Abyss plan an attack there. The place I had in mind to visit was "Wolvendom." I'd heard round lately that some "odd-looking" wolves had been showing up in that area. I thought it might be best to investigate it. I bet the grand "Wolf of the North," isn't all that thrilled. Those wolves are most likely trying to overthrow Wolvendom and that cannot happen. I've seen these wolves before once or twice. They seem like a new specimen the Abyss has created. Since it is the middle of the day, I don't expect them to be as active. But something could very well give me a lead. Once I had arrived, I decided to look around Andrius's battle ground. Nothing was quite out of the ordinary. In fact, I couldn't see anything at all that had any resemblance to the Abyss. I didn't sense much Abyssal power either. Very peculiar. I started to walk out of Andrius's ground, then I heard a voice,

"You dare step on my grounds, cursed mortal." I sighed and turned around. Andrius was nowhere to be seen. Only the engraved wolf head on the stone wall had been lit up.

"I promise I bring you no harm or your wolf pack. I am fighting the same cause as you." I explained,

"And what might that be? You're not a follower of the Anemo Archon or the Four Winds. How do I know you speak truth? For all I know you could be one of those damned Abyssal followers. Trying to threaten my territory and my home!" He exclaimed,

"You may be right, but I am no follower of the Abyss Order. I, to, am trying to stop them from doing harm to innocent beings."

"Lies! How could I trust you?" he growled,

"I don't want to fight you. My only intention was to drive off the Abyss. That's the only reason I was here. I was looking for leads, I promise."

"There has been all the evidence! My wolf pack has been in much distress because of these fowl Abyssal imposters! I only hear lies from you!"

"I know it may seem like that, but I can assure you that I am telling the truth." I defended, he growled again,

"Prove it." He said firmly,

"Ok, in two days' time, I promise that I will drive out these imposturous wolves and they will not bother you no more. If I fail to do so, you may pass your judgement on me." It may seem like an impossible promise, but I have trust in my abilities. As well as the holes in the Abyss's plans.

"Hmm, this one speaks with confidence." He paused, "I accept your deal. If you are not able to help us, consider yourself put back where you belong...with your civilization." He said, I nodded and the blue lights that once illuminated stone wall faded. I turned around and left the battle ground. I didn't want to make a promise with Andrius, but that was the only way I could've gotten out of there, alive. I may have this immortality curse, but when it comes to godly beasts and gods themselves. I don't want to test that theory. After all, I still have much work to do before I lay down to rest. I did a final run down of the area once more. Since now I am on a time crunch and my life could very well be on the line. I paid extra attention to the surrounding area. I finished the second time around surveying the area and had still found no traces of these Abyss wolves. As well as any traces of abyssal power. I'll come back here tonight and do an even more thorough search. After all, the Abyss is significantly more active during the night. For now, I decided to head back to Diluc's manor. I hoped that his guest had left, I wouldn't want to interrupt them. Even though Diluc had said otherwise. It still didn't feel proper. When I approached the field of grapevines in the front of the Dawn Winery. The very same man that showed up at Diluc's door was standing there. I had bumped into him on my way out. I think Adelinde called him "Master Kaeya." He must have lived here before to be called by such a title. Diluc didn't seem to think much about him. He doesn't seem to be fond of many people. Although, I believe Diluc addressed him as his brother. I know not all siblings have the best bond but I think their bond is even worse. Kaeya didn't move as I approached him. He was waiting for me to come up to him. He was also blocking the entrance, I stopped in front of him. He didn't say anything, he just stood there and stared at me. It was quite uncomfortable. It looked like he was trying to figure me out through my eyes.
