I actually let Katie talk me into going as Hayden's date to that double date. I'm not happy I did. He got the slightest bit tipsy.

You could barely smell the alcohol on his breathe. Within minutes I had a fork jabbed in his thigh for getting handsy. Obviously Andrew was busy tending to Katie who was already mostly past drunk. Where he him self was drunk. Hayden thought he was being slick by keeping his hands under the table. Thinking I was good with it. I told him to stop straight out and angrily before I stabbed him. He got his warning.

His eyes went wide and he was astonished. Apparently no ones ever told the boy no and meant it.

When Hayden got quiet Andrew looked over and saw me ready to beat Hayden.

"V, whats with the fork in Hayden's leg?"

"I put it there."

"Why would you do that?" Hayden's eyes went wide as he fiddled around in his seat.

"That's for him to tell." I said and drug Katie out to Andrews ford.

"My andybeaw!" She squalled. Reaching towards Andrew as I drug her out of the bar.

After seeing the dream of mine featuring Ryan, I haven't drank alcohol even my own recipe that I knew what was in. I was undoubtedly the designated driver. Andrew wasn't drunk, but he wasn't one hundred percent sober either. I forced Katie in the backseat and buckled her with the middle seats lap belt. I climbed in the drivers seat. Clearly I'd locked the child safety locks on the doors before we left the house and she fought with the door.

Andrew was as drunk if not more drunk than Katie. He was a calm drunk, she was hyperactive.

Andrew opened the passenger door submissively knowing he wasn't in control but apparently felt it was still argue able.

"Why are you in my seat?" He said climbing in.

"Your not sober you are drunk." My reply was met with a weak

"Andybeaw!" From the backseat as she dozed off.

"How does she manage to get so drunk in so little time?"

"She's a very light weight, cupcake." I winked.

"Why do you have to be so sober?" He rolled his eyes.

"Because I'm designated driver remember."

"Yeah but you're more fun when your drunk you don't annoy me when your drunk."

"Cupcake your just gonna have to get over it." I said jokingly.

"Yes ma'am." He grumbled as we pulled up to a stop sign, he leaned over and kissed my forehead.

I looked at him in question but he was facing the window with his eyes closed. I was unexplainably happy but utterly confused. I didn't have the heart to ask why, I'm scared to know why. If he brings it up we'll talk about it. Otherwise I'll save him the embarrassment.

It's safe to say I stopped viewing him as my brother. He's very much so a guy. Terrifyingly enough, I thought for that split second his lips touched my forehead, what it would be like for him to be the one.

That thought faltered when his lips left my head and I caught a glimpse of Katie in the rear view. I felt a pang if guilt. I knew she and I were gonna have to have a serious talk about this later.
