"What's that paper taped to the alarm?" Desiree asked me.

"I don't know Desiree, I'll go check it out." I kissed her forehead and grabbed her hand and walked her to the room with me. I plucked the paper off the alarm And begin to read it.

Hiya Isaiah, you look just like Jesse, who'd have thought the power steering would give out when it did? I didn't mean to kill him, you want your peace back? Theres a war starting with or without you, meet me at the Lauren valley hotel, for some good old fashioned freeze tag, with a twist.

I reread it three times and shivered. I looked to Desiree and was worried about her safety, if I take her with me it's easy to find her, if I leave her with mom, mom and Katie become a target. I don't have other options tho.

"Cheese Baby, pack your stuff, and pack the dogs necessities, y'all have to go stay at mom's." I began packing my own case. I threw in t shirts, jeans, my jacket, multiple pairs of socks and underwear.

"Can I ask where your going?" Her innocent looking eyes struck me.

"Baby, I'll give you the note when you get settled at moms."

"You're scaring me." Her hands began to shake. I stepped closer to her wrapping my arms around her.

"Please calm down, I know your anxious, but you have to remain calm." I whispered in her ear then kissed her forehead. I stood holding her while her breathing evened. "I love you, Cheese." I felt her smile against my chest. "Hey no, don't cry."

"I love you, Isaiah." She said when I bent down to eye level with her, I wiped her tears away. I kissed her forehead again.

"I'll pack the dog, you pack casual clothes and Pajamas, make sure you take feminine products, I don't know how long I'll be, and If you need absolutely anything mom and Katie will take care of you. Do not single yourself out. Do not follow me when you find out where I'm going. I will be by every chance I get. I will call you as often as possible."

I woke up to my small apartment, suited just for me, and occasionally the boys, when they sleep over. I rolled out of bed and began walking to the refrigerator. There was a lone piece of paper on my once covered in magnet refrigerator and I was angry when I found them strewn across the floor. I plucked the paper off reading what was so important they had to throw my magnets in the floor for.

Hey justice, I played with your dad's power steering too. Wanna know who I am? Meet me at the Lauren Valley Hotel, be prepared to play games.

I gritted my teeth as my blood ran cold. I went straight to my arsenal cabinet, loaded multiple guns, grabbed my suit case and packed the first clothing items I'd found. I was beyond angered. But I have to check and make sure Katie and mom are safe. I picked up my phone.

"Isaiah."

"You get a note too?"

"I'm calling Katie and that boyfriend of hers. You call mom."

"Alright."

I dialed my sister.

"Katherine get up and go wake Andrew up I'm coming to pick you both up. Pack bags. You have 30 minutes."

"But you live an hour awa- "
her voices died in her throat. "Yes sir, We'll be ready when you get here."
