The morning news played as my phone rang.

I stood and walked to my room with my puppy not far behind me. I hadn't named it yet. When he came in I closed the door, and answered the phone.

"Hello?"

"Violet, we have to meet the others about Jesse Robertson's death, I'll be there in 20." Puppy's current hobby was attacking my toes, it hurt quite a bit.

"Alright see you then." I hung up, hissed as puppy bit my toe particularly hard, then tore through the house, puppy still mere steps behind me I jumped in the shower while puppy laid on the mat outside the shower. Then I dried off and and quickly got dressed, more appropriately than when I met my gang, I pulled off a weak attempt at a loose braid that fell down my back.

All the puppies yipped as Austin knocked on the door. I had a sheepish grin as all of them in their harnesses' collected at my feet itching to go out. I clipped the leashes to their harnesses and opened the door.

"Hi" I said holding the four leashes as the dogs sniffed at Jackie and Austin. I smiled happily when I saw Jackie's matching puppy was also with him.

"Puppies?" Austin questioned.

"Andrew found them in a box by the dumps, then brought them home Katie appreciated them. This is my little man." I jiggled the blue leash as he sat on my feet. "They need to do their business, I don't want it on the porch." The guys nodded and stepped out of the way.

I walked them around for a moment and watched as they all did their business and got to sniffing everything. Then took them inside.

"You're not bringing your puppy?" Austin Asked.

"Is it an option?" I was ready to walk inside and grab him.

"Yeah, no one minds if you bring puppies or socialized dogs over." Jackie said smiling. I pranced inside and picked puppy up and his leash, closing and locking the door behind me.

"Did you feed him?" Jackie asked.

"Yes I did." I smiled, holding my little man up.

"What's his name?" They asked.

"I haven't figured one out yet." I sighed.

"Just call him buddy." Jackie said.

"What'd you name yours?" I asked Jackie.

"Buddy." He grinned.

"We can't match their names they'll be confused."

"Fair enough." We all laughed as we got in Jackie's cute blue SUV.

I watched as the puppies took an interest in each other from the backseat while Austin and Jackie talked about how to work the topic in about him stepping down and who is really replacing him.

The whole hour and a half ride to the train station was, odd. What with Jackie and Austin's choice in music being polar opposites, every other song is what the other likes.

"Well, Vi, we have to get you a pass, before we can take you on the train so we'll be another half hour here. Which means we'll only be two hours early as opposed to my three hours early preference." Austin stated which made me roll my eyes.

"Three hours is over kill." I stated. Jackie Nodded.

"She's right dude, the train deck doesn't even allow people on it till loading time.
