"Careful. Max no, stop running.  Be careful around that va-" I cut Katie off with a sharp whistle.

"Maxarillion Jay." I spoke calmly.
"This way." I lead him to the door to the basement where there was work out equipment nearly of any kind.

"Veronica, what the heck you have a personal Gym?"

"Yeah, you and Molly are welcome to it any time. Just let who ever is here know."

"Thank you!" He hugged me and darted around the room.

"Henry and Andrew can teach you the ropes. I gotta hit the road moms pulling the stitches."

"I wanna see the holes when you get back." He said as if he was well, a child.

"Sure thing. I'm going to lunch with a friend before I come back." I said as I ascended the stairs.

"Okay!" He followed me up the stairs.

"Bye guys!" I said headed towards the front door.

"Bye V!" I heard from a few directions as I swung open the door revealing a rather mad uncle Jackson.

"Violet, you've been moon shining?"

"Yes, you know it's a family tradition."

"Veronica! Grow some pot it's more popular!" He laughed.

"Bipolar much, What brings you here?"

"A little birdie told me about a lunch."

"So he's excited?" I rolled my eyes.

"Veronica, He really likes you. You should have heard the way he described you to me last night. It was so gross, but extremely touching. He's a really good guy. Please don't rip him to shreds."

"Jackie, I got this." A loud thud was heard.

"Wait is that...Bulldog!" Max slammed the bathroom door open, seeming star struck leaving the bathroom door open, pants still down around his ankles.

"Slobber Knocker, nice to see you again."

"How do you know, my cousin?"
Jackie looked at me as if to ask if Max really didn't know.

"I'm her Uncle." Max actually passed out.

"Should you, I don't know, get him out of the floor maybe?" Jackie suggested.

"Yeah I probably should, that kid is heavy though." I huffed walking over to Max, then reached down to pick him up off the floor. I begin dragging him to the couch and attempt to set him down winding up falling on top of him. Of course he choose then to wake up.

"Sorry Max, you passed out I tried to get you out of the floor and fell on top of you while trying to set you down, your not exactly light." I pushed up and off of him as Quickly as possible

"Okay."

"Okay." I nodded. "Bye kiddo." I headed back towards Jackie and pulled him outside closing the door behind me.

"As I was saying Veronica, don't rush in to anything with him, take your time. Make sure you communicate it's the best thing you can do." He ran a hand through his longish black hair.

"Jackie, communicating is the one thing I've always done."

"Okay, okay I get it, just remember he's the only male I can trust would take care of the gang the way it ought to be he has a lot of power, treat him right even if you remain as friends.
