School is over. As I planned, I wanted to eat my bento now. I quickly made my way to the garden terrace.
I was about to reach a turn, when I heard voices from behind it.
"Mikeji-mama! What do you think of the song I made for (Y/N)? Wahahaha! It's amazing, isn't it?" Leo laughed. I stayed where I am to listen in.
"Haha, as always, you are amazing, Leo-san! Mama's proud!" an unfamiliar voice responded. "Mama?" I whispered, confused.
"Ah! Don't pat my head, Mama! All my inspiration will come out later!" Leo complained childishly. The other person laughed. "Now, now, Leo-san, don't you have practice with Knights now?" he reminded.
Leo gasped. "Right! I need to get ready for the S1! A genius still needs to work hard, right? See ya, Mama!"
I held my breath and leaned against the wall, worried he might come here. I was lucky he didn't. I closed my eyes and sighed.
I was about to turn back when I was greeted by a face right in front of mine. "Wargh!" I got startled and fell backwards.
"Oh? Are you scared of Mama~?" I looked up to see the person clearly. He was tall, with brown hair that is tied in two braids, pulled to the back of his head. I kinda liked the hairstyle, to be honest.
He offered me his hand. "Here, let me help you" he said with a smile. I stood up with his help and dusted my clothes. I noticed my bento on the floor.
"Ah! Oh no!" I gasped. My bento box had opened from the impact of the fall, and my food spilled everywhere. "Ah.... my bento...." I bent down to pick up the grains of rice.
The guy from earlier bent down to help me. "Sorry. I guess you fell because of me, huh?" he apologized, sounding less energetic unlike before. I nodded. "I-its okay"
"Such a waste of a good bento...." he sighed. Suddenly, his face lit up. "Ahah! How about we share mine?!" he offered. I coughed. "Sh-share yours...?" I repeated.
He nodded. "Yes, yes! You are lucky, because Mama prepared an extra bento this morning! We can share!"
"R-really? I'm okay not eating..." I muttered. Now, I'm feeling sorry for making him share his bento. "Awh, don't be like that! Kids need food to grow, don't they? Mama packed a nutritious bento!" he smiled.

I pretty much got dragged by him to 3-A to pick up the said bento. I'm quite embarrassed, since I've never shared a bento with a guy before.... it kinds feels like an anime. However... this guy... well, let me just say his energy is different.
The sun isn't that bright today, so he suggested we eat at the rooftop.
"Open wide~" he suddenly pointed a spoonful of rice at me. "E-eh...?" I inched away out of reflex.
"Hm? What's wrong? If you don't want Mama to feed you, then here, I have some spare cutleries" he handed me a pair of chopsticks.
I was relieved he understood that one. I happily took the chopsticks. After hesitating for a bit, I picked up an egg roll from the bento.
"Mmm! Wait.. this egg roll is actually really good!" I complimented. "Haha! Mama's glad you liked it! I made it myself!" he said proudly.
"By the way... why do you keep referring to yourself as 'Mama'...?" I finally asked. I've been curious for a while now.
"Ah, it's because I'm.... Mama! Hehe, just kidding. I'm Mikejima Madara, 3rd year, class 3-A" he introduced himself. I'm still not sure why he calls himself 'Mama' though. Is it because of his name or what?
"Well, I'm (L/N) (Y/N), 2nd year class 2-B. I'm an exchange student here since around 2 weeks ago" I told.
"Ohhh, So it is indeed you! Happy to meet you, (Y/N)-san!" he took my hand and shook it energetically. "I saw your performance on social media!" he added.
"E-eh, really? I'm delighted" I smiled. "You know, I'm also a solo idol! I'm happy to meet another solo idol here!" he stopped shaking my hand.
I shook my head. "No, I'm not an idol. I'm just in training. At my school, we can only debut once we graduated" I informed. "Don't worry, (Y/N)-san! You'll become an amazing idol one day! Mama's sure of it!" Madara patted my head.
That made me feel really good actually. I mouthed thank you to him and continued to eat a bit more.
"Leo-san also thinks highly of you! I believe he gave you the song he made already?" Madara asked. I nodded, my mouth still full. "Are you friends with Leader? He seems to call you 'Mama' too" I wondered.
"Yep, yep! He's like my son! Although, we are the same age... but I'm everyone's Mama anyway! So if you need a mother's love, come to me!" he patted his chest proudly.
That sounded weird, but I don't mind. I've seen enough here already. He's a very fun guy, though. I suppose it doesn't hurt playing along. I chuckled, nodding.

We finished the bento together. It was very fun chatting with him. He's very supportive and cheerful, I feel at ease.
I grabbed my bag from 2-B. "Alright, it's been fun with you, Mama. But I need to go home now" I told Madara.
Since it's still pretty early, I decided to go home now. It's still a long time before Midori finishes his activities, and I've got nothing to do at school.
"You're going home? Let Mama walk you, then!" Madara offered. "Eh? You wanna accompany me, Mama? It's fine though" I smiled.
"Are you sure, (Y/N)-san? You don't want someone to accompany you?" he asked. I bit my lip. Honestly, it'd be a nice thought. "That's a yes, isn't it?" he grinned. I nodded slowly. "I g-guess I'll trust you. But the second you seem suspicious, I'm running away" I warned him. You know, I still gotta watch out. I don't know him well, and I haven't heard much about him.
Madara grinned happily. "Right~✩ let's go!"
"W-wait- Wahhh!!!"
He suddenly carried me and gave me a piggyback ride. I struggled to balance myself because of the shock. "Ready?" Madara asked.
"Ready- Ahhhhh!!!" I screamed as soon as Madara started running. I am not ready I guess.
This reminded me of when 2wink kidnapped me to the practice room. Since I already had the experience, it didn't take me long to adjust and start to have fun.
We exited the school building. I can see several of my friends around. In fact, we even bumped into Midori who went out to get water. And let me tell you, he looked even more shocked than I am.
We soon exited the school, but not before Madara managed to run around the courtyard like, 2 times.
We reached the shop area. I swear, it was kinda embarrassing with the passersby eyeing us oddly. Madara seemed to be having fun, though. This guy really is something else, huh?
Finally, after what seemed like forever, a fun forever, though, we reached Takamine's Groceries. Madara carefully put me down.
I giggled. "That was honestly fun, Mama. It's been so long since I last got a piggyback ride. My father says I'm too heavy" I thanked him.
"Hahaha, you're welcome! Mama's happy you enjoyed it! You're very light, though" Madara grinned.
"I can give you rides back home anytime! Just call me when you need me, 'cause Mama's sure gonna be there!" he balled his fist and placed it on his chest.
I tapped my chin. "Do you need some drinks before you go? I can buy you one from the store" I offered. Madara shook his head. "No need, (Y/N)-san! Now, see you later! Remember, if you need help, call Mama, okay? Hahaha!" he said with a laugh.
He turned around and waved. I waved back, smiling.
Lesson of the day? One; don't pull a suspicious book, I'll end up being tied up and sacrificed for a ritual.
Two; Mama is a fun guy.
