Picnic

Its the weekend, the weather is amazing and the breeze is soft and soothing. What other way should I appreciate this weekend aside from-

"Big sis!" I heard a voice from someone I was waiting for. I turned towards his direction and gave a smile.

"Good morning, Tsukasa-kun!" I gently waved. Tsukasa walked closer and bowed all gentleman-like. "Did I make you wait long?" he asked.

I shook my head. "No, not at all! I just arrived here!". Actually, that was a lie. I waited for around 15 minutes, which felt like forever. But since I didn't want him to feel guilty, I had to say otherwise.

"Are you sure? I took quite long to pack the CAKE I was going to bring today. I thought I took pretty long..." Tsukasa rubbed his chin.

"Seriously, no need to worry about that! You should worry about making me abandon Midori alone at the store! Although, he seems to be more at ease when I did..." I scratched my cheek with an awkward smile.

"Ah! Then, I must apologize to him later! But now, I don't want to keep you waiting further. Let's get going!" Tsukasa lifted his head up with a smile.

I nodded, and with his signal, we started walking away from the Yumenosaki gate, where we had agreed to meet. And as I said, what other way should I appreciate such a perfect weekend than a good picnic?

Tsukasa is the one who invited me. He also invited some of his classmates, but none of them can come. So I guess it's just the two of us today(?).

We walked for a while until we were near the area of  an empty building. The massive building is still in the process of construction, but it seems that it's almost done.

"I wonder what such a big building is used for? It must be for some kind of big company" I wondered all of a sudden. "Hm? That one? Oh, I heard Brother Tenshouin has something to do with it, but UNFORTUNATELY, I don't know the details. It is indeed looking very majestic" Tsukasa spoke.

"Anyways, come here. Someone told me of this place around here" he ushered me to follow him. We went past some bushes and even through a small forest. I started feeling scared, but I know I can trust Tsukasa.

"Here we are" he announced. He pushed away some bushes and it revealed a small yet really beautiful flower field.

I was captivated by the sight. "Wh- what? What place is this? Did we just stepped into some kind of fantasy land?" I joked.

"Fortunately, this is very much in the REALITY. I thought of bringing you here now since it might get destroyed for the CONSTRUCTION of that building." Tsukasa told.

A smile stuck to my face as I stepped into the flower field. We set up our picnic spot under a tree close to where we came from.

I looked around just to admire the scenery a bit more when I noticed another figure under a tree a few meters ahead. I tapped Tsukasa's shoulder. "Hey, Tsukasa-kun, I'll excuse myself for a bit. Don't start eating without me!" I stood up and without waiting for his response, I went ahead.

I got closer to the figure, when I realized he isn't a stranger at all. "Tori-kun?" I called his name. Tori, who seemed to be spacing out earlier looked at me.

"E-eh? (Y/N)-senpai? Waaahhhh! What are you doing here?" he quickly stood up in front of me.
"Ehehe, I should ask you that too. Well, I'm having a picnic, and you seem to as well" I said, pointing at his picnic mat and untouched picnic basket.

"But... Are you alone? It's rare to see you alone. Where's Fushimi?" I asked. Tori sighed. "Yuzuru is always busy with work! So I came here in secret, but I realized it's very lonely without anyone" he pouted.
