Sewing Lessons

I had a quick stop at the Garden Terrace after class ended. I happily ate the fried chicken set I ordered. Since the Garden Terrace isn't too crowded during this time, I prefer coming here now instead of during recess.

As I was eating, I also thought about scheduling a performance some time later. It's been a good while since I last stepped on stage, so I'm kinda missing that feeling. Plus, I also got a new song from Leo the other day, and I'm dying to perform it!

"Should I talk to Eichi...? Ah, but I heard he got admitted to the hospital again. And I don't have his number..." I murmured to myself.

I shook my thoughts off. "Ah, I can think about that later! Let's enjoy this chicken first!" I licked my lips and focused back on my meal.

After I finished eating and generating ideas for my proposal, I walked out and as usual, took a stroll around the courtyard and checking out what the clubs are up to. Since I'm not part of any clubs, I've been constantly volunteering to help with a random club's activities. You can say I'm unofficially the volunteers club.

I giggled to myself at the thought. Suddenly, I saw a familiar figure walking by. I quickly waved and called him before he got too far.

"Hasumi-senpai!" I called. Keito immediately turned towards me. "Hm? Ah, it's you, (L/N). Do you need something?" he placed his hands on his hips, waiting for an answer.

"Since the President isn't here, can you take a look at my proposal for a new performance? It's not done yet, but I'm just asking in advance. I hope you're not too busy" I told.

Keito thought for a bit. "I can do that, but I'm not sure if there's any empty spots in the stage reservation. I'll check the schedule" he spoke.

"Ah, really? Alright, I'll send the proposal right after I'm done with it! Thank you, senpai" I smiled at him. Keito fixed his glasses with a nod. He turned back and continued walking into the school building.

I watched him walk away. Suddenly, I was reminded of something. Since I have that CosPro ball to attend to, I gotta tell him to avoid that day to schedule my performance.

"W-wait, Hasumi-senpai!" I shouted, yet I'm pretty sure Keito didn't hear me. I swiftly ran over to him.

"Hasumi-senpai!" I called his name again and tugged on his sleeves. Quite roughly.

Rrriipp....

I gasped. Right at that moment, Keito turned back. "Yeah? What else? Why is your face like that?" he asked, clueless.

I covered my mouth with my hands in guilt. "Uhhhhh..... Senpai, don't be mad.... But....." I slowly pointed at his shoulder.

I had accidentally ripped his sleeve when I tugged onto it earlier. I'm not even sure how. It just happened. I'm pretty sure even if I tugged it like that, it shouldn't have ripped. Right?

But well, things happened.

Keito blinked in disbelief, then sighed. "Don't worry, this has happened countless times before. I've had this blazer since my second year, and it has worn down a bit. I'll just get Kiryu to fix it" he spoke, taking off the blazer.

I shook my head. "No, no, I'm really sorry! Let me bring this to Kiryu-senpai! You can get inside before you get cold!" I panicked. I took the blazer from his hands and made my way.

Keito suddenly tugged on my sleeve as well. "But wait, (L/N)! Do you even know-"

Rrriiippp....

"Ahahahahah!" Kuro's laughter filled the karate dojo. Me and Keito just sat there, silently blushing from embarrassment.

He didn't stop laughing for a while. Keito fake-coughed. "Ehem....Kiryu, are you done laughing? So, can you fix it for us?"

Kuro wiped his tears of laughter. "Ahaha... I just couldn't believe you two would come here because of that.... It's just so unexpected" he smiled with a chuckle.

"But don't worry, I'll fix it for you" he finally nodded.
I breathed a sigh of relief. "Sorry for bothering you in the middle of your club activity. Speaking of which, where's Tetora? I haven't seen him" I thought, looking around the dojo for the black-haired boy.

"Don't worry, I wasn't doing anything anyway. I had to dismiss him early because he had some urgent matters to attend to. So I'm totally free to help you" he reassured.

Me and Keito nodded. We decided to stay in the dojo since it's getting pretty cold outside lately. Kuro picked up Keito's blazer first and examined the damage.

Suddenly, I thought of something. "Actually, I'll fix mine myself!" I announced, grabbing my blazer. "Are you sure? Because if you want to cover up a rip like this, there's a special way to make it look seamless. We don't want your blazer to clearly have stitches on them" Kuro looked at me.

"Eh, really? I haven't heard of such thing.... Then, can you teach me?" I requested. Kuro chuckled. "Haha, sure"

Keito was silent for a while, observing us. He bit his lip. "Actually, I'll do it myself too" he suddenly spoke.

Me and Kuro turned towards him in shock. "Do you wanna learn too, Hasumi?" Kuro asked. Keito nodded. "I guess it's good to learn. I can't rely on you all the time"

Kuro smiled. "Sure thing! Here, take this sewing kit. Good thing I do have something with the same damage, so I can demonstrate using that" he stood up and went away.

He came back with Chiaki's RYUSEITAI uniform that clearly has some damage on the sides. We sat down in a circle. "Alright. So, firstly...."

"Yeah! Finally done! Thank you, Kiryu-senpai!" I lifted my blazer and looked at the seamless repair. Meanwhile, Kuro is busy putting on bandages on Keito's hand.

"I told you I can do it myself" Keito spoke under his breath. Kuro chuckled. "There's nothing wrong with helping each other sometimes, right?" he replied.

I pulled on the sleeve of my blazer. "Oh, it's quite sturdy!" I pointed out. "Ah, (L/N), it's best not to do that. As you can see, I've repaired Hasumi's blazer many times and it still easily rips" Kuro adviced.

I immediately stopped with a grin. "Ehehe.... Sorry"

Kuro shook his head with a smile. "I guess you guys are good to go! I'm heading home now since my activities are over" he finished bandaging Keito's hand and stood up.

"Hm, alright. I'm heading to the student council room. Isara, Himemiya and Fushimi must be waiting" Keito told, putting on his blazer.

That rings a bell. "Ah, Hasumi-senpai! I totally forgot why I called out to you again earlier! It was actually about my performance schedule..." I scratched my head.

Keito sighed. "How about we discuss at the student council room instead? Let's get over everything right away"

"That's right. That way, you guys won't have to rip each other's clothes to get attention" Kuro mocked, laughing.

I laughed along, embarrassed while Keito just rolled his eyes with a smile.
