Sweet and Spicy

I sat at the garden terrace, spinning my pen around. I was thinking about my stage setup later, since Eichi suggested I'd do something unique to make my first performance memorable.

He's not wrong, so here I am, thinking with a glass of apple juice beside me. I took a sip.

"(Y/N)-SENPAI!!!!!" someone greeted me at the top of his lungs. I almost spit out my drink out of shock.

"Hehe, Hello, (Y/N)-senpai!" another voice followed. I looked beside me. On my right is Hinata, and Yuta is on my left. Now, Since when did they get here?

I coughed. "Hello guys.. is there anything you need from me?" I placed my drink down.

They both fiddled with their fingers, with a shy smile on their faces. Now, I am very curious. "What is it? Just tell me, don't hesitate" I spoke.

"Aniki, it was your idea, so you tell her" Yuta whispered. However, I'm in between them, so I can hear clearly. I looked at Hinata. "So, what is it, Hinata-kun?" I asked with a smile.

"Senpai... you have a performance next week, right?" he asked back. I nodded. "So.. can we be your opening act?" he continued. I'm glad he didn't beat-around-the-bush, because then I won't have any patience anymore.

"Ahh, why don't you say so? Sure, I don't mind. However, I think you'll need to get permission from the president first" I told.

Both seemed surprised. "A-are you sure, senpai? You accepted so quickly, are you not worried we might ruin your first performance?" Yuta asked, making sure I wasn't kidding.

I nodded. "Yes. Plus, I'll feel more at ease if I know I won't be the only one receiving attention. Honestly, I'm very nervous myself.. And I don't want to focus too much on fame for now" I reasoned.

Their eyes sparkled as they looked at each other. "Really?" they asked again, at the same time. "Yes, really" I smiled.

"Yay!!! Thanks, (Y/N)-senpai!!!" they cheered, then hugged me. I laughed happily.

Their hug started to get tighter. I coughed. They suddenly panicked and released me. "S-senpai! Are you okay? Sorry, we were too excited!" Hinata panicked. Yuta checked my condition.

I chuckled, and soon, it turned into another laugh. "Ahaha, I'm fine guys" I said in the middle of laughter. They were so cute when they're concerned.

The two bursted into laughter as well.

I opened the door to the student council room. This time, it seems it's only Eichi, and surprisingly, the Aoi twins are there too.

"Ah, (L/N). We were just discussing about your performance" Eichi spoke first. "Good morning, president. Ehehe, what a coincidence. I'm here regarding that too" I chuckled, and placed my stage planning folder on his desk.

"Oh, is this the design? You're quick. I shall review it later. If you don't mind, I will change it a bit according to rules and suitableness" he informed. I nodded. Eichi turned towards the twins.

"Back to you guys, you want to add your performance into (L/N)'s?" he asked them.

They both nodded simultaneously. "Yes, president" Hinata responded. Eichi thought for a while. "President, I already approved of this" I added. Eichi looked back at me.

"Are you sure you don't mind? If that's so, then I'll have to shorten your performance time to make room for them" he told. "I don't mind. As long as I still get to perform" I added.

He looked at the twins again, then back at me. He sighed. " Alright. It's your performance, so if you allow, I'll allow" he smiled at me. My heart fluttered a little. Although, he still has quite the strange.. threatening aura in his smile.
