"(Yyyyyyy/Nnnnnn)!!!!"

I was just about to leave my class when somebody called me from behind. And i for sure know who that 'somebody' is.

I turned around. "Hi, Akehoshi-kun. What's up?" I smiled at him,who had come a little bit closer. Subaru grinned. "Hehe, do you have a club yet, (Y/N)?"

I raised an eyebrow. "Umm, no. Why the sudden question?"

"Hehe, how about I invite you to the basketball club today? Come and check us out!" Subaru placed his hands on my shoulder. Suddenly, I heard a chuckle from behind.

"Haha, Subaru, that was so sudden. Even I didn't expect you to invite her" Mao gave a friendly smile. He seemed to had just walked out of the class.

Subaru grinned again. "Why not? You want to show your amazing skills to (Y/N) too, right??" He taunted. Mao scratched his head, blushing lightly. "S-since when..?" He muttered.

The two soon switched their attention towards me. "So, (Y/N), what do you say?" Subaru asked hopefully.

I smiled at them.

"Why is she here again?" Midori asked, pointing at me with a confused expression. Chiaki is standing curiously with his elbow on Midori's shoulder.

I chuckled. "Well, Akehoshi-kun invited me here, so why not? Aren't you happy to see me here, Midori?" I smiled at them. Midori's eyes averted. "Shut up" he whispered, clearly already annoyed by me.

"Haha, I'm glad you took the invitation, (L/N)! Get ready guys, because today, we are having a match!" Chiaki announced. Subaru seemed excited. "Whoa! Really! I wanna team with Sally~!" He exclaimed, before throwing his arms around Mao.

"Sounds fun! We haven't had a proper match in ages!" Mao nodded. Midori, however, doesn't seem too excited about it. "Ahhh, why so sudden? I'm so tired.. so depressing..." he sighed. "Come on, Takamine! We have a special guest today! Cheer up!" Chiaki motivated, patting Midori's back.

Midori glanced at me. He sighed again. "Fine, just because we have a guest" he muttered. I smiled at him, happy.

They warmed themselves up, then prepared for the game. Subaru and Mao are a team, while their opponents are Chiaki and Midori. I sat on the bleachers, ready for the game to start.

They were amazing in basketball, as I can see. However, there are some setbacks. Subaru always gets too distracted, telling me to keep an eye on him. Mao is too stressed out with Subaru. Chiaki is too energetic and competitive while Midori.. he's just not motivated enough.

They still played well and the short game ended half an hour later, with Subaru and Mao leading by only 1 point.

I passed them each a bottle of water. "Great job! That was so cool!" I smiled. "I was very sparkly, right, (Y/N)?! I can be sparkly even if I'm not performing!" Subaru cheered with a big smile.

"Yeah, but next time, please pay attention. I had a headache having to keep an eye on you as well. Good thing we still won, though" Mao sighed. "That was a good game, wasn't it? I'm proud of you two, able to surpass me! You won't have a problem leading the club when I graduate later!" Chiaki praised.

"By the way, are you guys still able to play another game?" I interrupted. "Yeah, sure! We just need a short rest. So why, (L/N)? Do you wanna watch us play again?" Chiaki asked.

I shook my head with a cheeky smile. "Just wait and see! I need to go for a bit" I said before leaving the gym for a while. I have a big surprise for the boys.

I came back 15 minutes later. The boys are busy doing some light stretches. And they were very surprised by what I'm wearing.

"(Y/N), why did you change into gym clothes?" Midori tilted his head. I grinned. "Hehe, I wanna join! I'm pretty good, you know?" I announced.

"Whoa, really? That's cool!" Mao said excitedly. "Yep! I play frequently back at my school. We have a woman's basketball team there" I told.

Chiaki seemed delighted. "I'm amazed, (L/N)! However, one of you must switch places with her" he spoke. Midori was the first and fastest to raise his hand.

"I'm tired. She can replace me" he reasoned. "Haha, I get it. Thanks, Midori~" I smiled at him as he made his way to the bleachers.

"I'm excited to see what you're capable of! Let's go, (L/N)!" Chiaki patted my back before we took our positions at the court.

"Make sure to sparkle, (Y/N)! We won't lose, though!" Subaru cheered. "Hehe, let's get this bread!" I whispered to myself. Honestly, I'm quite nervous since I'm used to playing with girls. However, I thought this would be a good opportunity. I might be short, but I'm more than just my appearance!

Midori blowed the whistle, and the game began. It went smoothly on me and Chiaki's side. I was for sure struggling a bit since they're all much bigger and taller than me.

However, after a while, it seemed like we're leading the game. I felt more confident and free to move.

Another half an hour game ended, with me and Chiaki winning by 2 points. We high-fived each other. "Hahaha, I like you, (L/N)! You're surprisingly very agile!" He praised, wiping away the sweat on his forehead. I smiled.

Subaru and Mao approached us. "You scored 3 out of 7 points! You're really good" Mao spoke. "You indeed sparkled! Hehe!" Subaru smiled widely.

Midori came with bottles of water for us. "You're better than me. How about you replace me in this club? Then, I won't need to play anymore..." he thought.

"Yeah, yeah! Takamin shouldn't leave, but you really should enter!" Subaru nodded.

I gulped down the water, then gave them a sad smile. "Sorry, but I must decline. Sports isn't my main focus or interest, I just play to make sure I exercise" I told. They seemed a little sad by my answer.

Chiaki placed a hand on my shoulder. "Its fine, I understand your decision. It was an honour to play with you! Now, anyone ready for another match??" He raised his voice. Wow, hes already so energized even after very little rest.

"L-lets calm down and take a few more minutes to catch out breath" Mao requested. We all nodded in agreement. "Haha, okay, okay! But after this, I wish to go against (L/N)! I wanna have a match with you, my Ryusei Pink!" Chiaki gave a cheeky smile.

"Hehe, okay. Ill beat you, senpai!" I spoke, trying to match his energy. "Now this is the spirit and confidence we want! Takamine, lets do our best!" Chiaki suddenly pulled Midori beside him.

Midori seemed unpleasant and surprised. "Why me...?" He sighed. "Then, Ill be at the bleachers. Because Im sure, you wanna play with (Y/N), right, Subaru?" Mao offered, looking at Subaru beside him.

Subaru grinned. "Youre so clever, Sally!" He hugged Mao again. I smiled. "May this match be a good game! Lets go!" I cheered.
