Step 2: Initiate Contact

Wednesday figured that if she has to do a multi step plan to get Lilith to fall in love with her, she may as well have fun with it. Step one was to get back in the pyro's good graces, and with that completed now the games can begin.

Wednesday sat next to Lilith in a class she couldn't care less about. While the teacher was lecturing and Lilith was paying attention, Wednesday scooted ever so closer to the pyro so their arms were touching. Lilith raised an eyebrow at her, but Wednesday carried on as normal like she wasn't doing anything.

Step 2: Initiate as much physical contact as possible, slowly becoming more brazen over two weeks until Lilith is accustomed to your touch

They stayed like that all class, and even if Wednesday did care about the class she wouldn't have been able to pay attention. All her brain could think about was their arms touching. Eventually the class ended and they didn't have their second one together that day. A true disappointment.

But after the second class of the day was lunch, and Lilith was gracing the group with her presence. She had decided to alternate who she spends lunch with. Yesterday was Riley so today was them. Wednesday was the last to join the table (like usual) and the others had strategically left the seat next to Lilith open. Wednesday sat down next to her as close as physically possible. Lilith's right side and Wednesday's left we're in complete contact.

Lilith had a light blush on her cheeks as she glanced at Wednesday strangely. "Uhh ... you good, Wednesday?"

Wednesday gave her usual blank expression. "Yes. Why do you ask?"

Lilith opened her mouth to respond but nothing came out. She shook her head and just continued eating. Wednesday gave a small victorious smile. If Lilith wasn't complaining then that meant she didn't mind it. Hell, she might even like it. That was a good sign. They stayed like that all lunch and afterward they walked to their next class together.

While walking Wednesday made sure to stay close, having her hand brush against Lilith's multiple times. Yet she never grabbed it. She needs to work her way up to that. First it's the small touches, being a little closer than necessary. Then she builds it up.

In class she did the same thing as before, sat extremely close to her so their bodies were in contact the entire time. Lilith still didn't complain, though she did give the seer multiple confused looks.

When class ended, they went their separate ways for their last class of the day and afterward Lilith went to find Bianca. She was seriously confused. She found the siren along with Kent and Divina at their little singing club.

"Hey, B," she greeted with a hug.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" Bianca asked as a Kent and Divina also joined them.

"Yeah, I just have a question." She gently scratched her cheek. "Wednesday's been acting kinda weird today, right?"

"How so?"

"Well, she isn't usually this touchy, right? I mean you saw how close she sat to me at lunch."

Bianca hummed and shook her head. "I didn't see anything." Kent and Divina mumbled words of agreement.

Lilith glared at them. "I'm not crazy." They shrugged and she rolled her eyes. "Whatever. I'll see you guys later then." She headed to her dorm.

She knows she wasn't imagining it. But maybe she's making it more a big deal than it is. That's why the others didn't notice. It's not like the touches were hurting anyone. And if she was being honest she did like the contact. And she was starting to realize that the warmth she thought was her pyrokinesis acting up, was actually just Wednesday touching her. Wherever Wednesday touched her, warmth shot through that area. And now that she didn't have to worry about burning the goth girl, it was actually quite nice. So no, the touches weren't hurting anyone. And Lilith kind of didn't want them to stop. A shameful feeling since she has a boyfriend, but it's not like the contact was romantic in anyway. Wednesday didn't like her like that. Though this new connection was making it a bit harder for Lilith to get over her small crush on the girl. Maybe it was only a today thing. Maybe she'll stop tomorrow.
