After Lilith gave Wednesday her gift, the rest of the day was pretty uneventful. Seeing how tired the pyro was, Wednesday dragged her into her dorm and the two laid down and cuddled. Lilith ended up sleeping for the entire school day. Wednesday didn't mind. She liked holding Lilith in her arms. Besides, she had grabbed a book to entertain herself before they laid down. Enid giggled at the two as she left for class that morning.
After Lilith awoke, she was energized and the group decided to hit the town together. They spent the day in Jericho and everyone had a good time. Especially since Eugene joined them. They went from store to store messing around and buying things they didn't need. All except for Lilith. Wednesday had asked her why that was and learned that the pyro had no money. Which led to Wednesday asking how she bought her supplies to make her keychain. Lilith admitted that Enid bought them for her. Wednesday didn't like this.
She went up to Enid, found out how much she spent, and then paid her back. She then went back to Lilith and handed her a wad of cash.
Her eyes went wide. "Wednesday!"
"I'm your girlfriend, I pay for your things."
"You can't just give me a shit ton of cash!"
"Yes I can. I just did."
The others all giggled at them but Wednesday's glares prevented them from saying anything. The rest of the day was fun and now Lilith could buy stuff. She only bought one thing though. She felt bad since she knew it was Wednesday's money. But Wednesday noticed this and just started buying her things anyway. The day ended with Lilith having like ten things. She almost ended up with more, but she got Wednesday to stop.
Thursday was more of the same. Though this time when they went to go hang out in Jericho, Wednesday didn't join them. It was too much socializing for her in too little time. This allowed Lilith to spend more time with the others though, growing closer to all of them.
On Friday, Wednesday walked Lilith to her first period class like usual and kissed her goodbye. Lilith sat down in her seat and everything was fine until she heard a familiar annoying voice.
"So I see I was right about you and Wednesday," Tony said from his seat behind her.
Lilith rolled her eyes. "Fuck off, Tony. Me and Wednesday only just started dating a week ago, not that it's any of your business." He opened his mouth to say something but she cut him off. "And I never cheated on Riley, we dated for a week, that was it."
"So you're in the habit of pretending to date people? Good, then you can help me."
She turned in her chair to face him. "And why on earth would I help you with anything? You almost ruined my chances with Wednesday by sending that audio message."
Yes, Lilith knew Tony sent it. She talked to Bianca about it after the fact and she told her. Everyone agreed not to tell Wednesday who it was though, because she would definitely go and kill him. Not that they cared about Tony, but they didn't want Wednesday to get arrested on the chance she gets caught.
Tony smirked. "Because I know your secret. And I don't think you want it to get out."
Lilith looked at him confused and on edge. "What secret?" He gestured for her to lean in and she reluctantly did. He then whispered in her ear a name he shouldn't have known. Her eyes widened. "How do you know that name?"
"It's amazing what you can find on the internet."
Lilith gritted her teeth as she glared at him. "What do you want?"
He grinned. "As I'm sure you know, parents weekend is this weekend and people start arriving this afternoon. You're going to pretend to be my girlfriend for the weekend so I can impress my parents and get them off my back. Then I'll leave you alone for good."
