The rest of Sunday was rather pleasurable. Though Lilith had insisted that Wednesday hadn't won anything, they did end up having sex. And Wednesday did tie her to the bed. And Lilith did enjoy it. But they made sure not to tell Bianca that.
It was now Monday and Lilith was kind of surprised to see that Wednesday didn't stop doing everything she had began to while doing her plan. She still carried her backpack for her, held doors open for her, walked her to her classes, and made sure they always had some type of physical contact. It was actually very heartwarming. Lilith fully expected all of it to stop now that Wednesday had gotten what she wanted and they were dating. Yet when she mentioned it to her girlfriend, she was given a confused look and this response.
"Step three was to essentially be your girlfriend in everything but name. Now that I am, why would I stop?"
Lilith just smiled and gave her a quick kiss on the lips. It was all very sweet, but it kind of made her feel like she was lacking as a girlfriend. What could she do for Wednesday? Maybe she should get her a gift. She needed to think about it.
Now the group was at lunch and Enid grinned. "Guys, first parents weekend is this weekend! I'm so excited!"
Yoko looked at the werewolf strangely. "Why are you so excited? You hate your parents."
"Oh, I do, but two reasons." She counted them on her fingers. "One, just like last year, they're not even coming. My brothers graduated two years ago so why would they bother to see the disappointment of the family."
Lilith's jaw had dropped. "Enid," she stopped her before she could continue, "that's like really sad. Are you okay?" She didn't know that Enid's home life was so bad. Bianca should've mentioned it.
But Enid only smiled. "Yeah, I'm great. Which actually brings me to two, I may hate my parents, but I love Wednesday's! They're so amazing!"
"That is true," Bianca agreed. She turned to Lilith to explain. "You should've seen them at the beginning of last year after Wednesday finally told them everything that happened sophomore year. They wanted to meet me and Eugene and kinda re-meet Enid. They thanked and hugged us like a million times for helping Wednesday."
"They even gave me a moon necklace as a congratulations for finally wolfing out!"
Lilith's eyes were wide. She hadn't even thought about having to meet Wednesday's parents on parent weekend. Would they like her? But she voiced a different question. "Uhhh who's Eugene?"
Kent tilted his head in confusion. "You don't know Eugene?"
"They've yet to meet," Wednesday answered. "He opts to spend all his free time at the bee shed this year. Something about making his college applications more impressive." She looked at Lilith. "I'll have to drag him out for you the next time I go."
"The point is," Enid brought the focus back around, "they always let me hang out with them on parents weekend. Bianca too! I'm sure they're dying to meet you."
Lilith raised an eyebrow. "Do they even know about me?"
"Of course they do," Wednesday answered. "I told them back when I realized my feelings after you started dating that imbecile Riley."
Riley's jaw dropped. "I am right here!" It was his first day sitting with them and he was already being insulted by Wednesday.
She met his eyes with a blank stare. "I'm aware." She then turned back to Lilith. "After I told them that I thought I had ruined any chances with you, they told me not to give up. Though I've yet to give them an update since then, so they don't know we're dating."
