did yeji absolutely freak out when you told her what happened yesterday ? no, but yuna did. according to yeji it was bound to happen and she saw it coming your first day back. yuna on the other hand was shocked to say the least.

"AND he wants you to go to his house today to work again ??" she said with her eyes as wide as they could possibly get

"yeah.."

"oh my god you're literally gonna be dating by the end of the week"

"i wouldn't say all that. i mean i like him but we haven't really gotten to talk in class and based off yesterday he honestly just seems friendly." you replied shaking your head

"first off, knowing you you're oblivious to a lot so i wouldn't be surprised if he was dropping hints the whole time and you just never noticed. second, fine i give you til the end of the month. happy ?" she smiled proudly at you

you only continued to shake your head as she kept talking about her predictions for the month.

"this december is gonna be interesting, that's for sure..."

"you're not helping yuna" you raised an eyebrow at her

"whatever BUT you do need to finally give me your number i'll be needing updates outside of class" she replied

"okay okay."

going into lunch that day, you and yeji once again didn't see the boy you were hoping wasn't there. however, you did see his brother and some of his friends. jungwon, jake, and jay didn't usually come to the cafeteria but the one time they did in months, they of course took your seats.

"oh hey y/nie" jake said with a smile after turning around to see you standing behind them waiting to be noticed with yeji a few steps back

"hey, question. out of all the empty seats did you have to pick these ?" you said jokingly as he chuckled, finally realizing where they were

"our bad. we haven't come here in a while i forgot this table was taken. here, sit. you too, yeji." jake said standing up and motioning for jay to move over so him and jungwon could slide over to the other side

"that's alright, as long as your brother isn't here i don't care who sits here" yeji said pointing her head at jungwon when she spoke

"don't worry you won't see him around for a while" jay said

"seowon got suspended" jungwon started

"he got caught skipping 3 full days in a row, he's out for the week."

"kinda serves him right though, i mean who's dumb enough to skip at the same lunch table every period for days" jay said making the rest of you laugh a bit

"your brother, clearly." jake said as everyone turned back to jungwon

"he's always been all kinds of stupid and fucked up" he replied with an annoyed look in his eyes at the thought of him

yeji shifted uncomfortably in her seat which he noticed and immediately said something.

"but don't worry. i promise you we're nothing like him. he's an asshole and thankfully i don't think we'll be dealing with him for much longer."

"thank you, i believe you but what do you mean is he moving out or something ?" she asked

"he's been talking about moving in with our aunt and uncle in incheon. my parents seem to be fine with it and they want him to finish out his junior and senior year at school there." he said
