I stared at PJM Studio, lost in thought.

"Mr. Jeon, let's go inside. How long are we going to just stare at the company?" the producer nudged me. I sighed and put out my cigarette before entering the building.

The receptionist instructed us to wait in the meeting room. As time passed, I grew impatient and fidgety. I lit another cigarette despite the producer's disapproval.

"I'm done, Mr. Mark. I think he called me to insult me. The mistake is mine; I shouldn't have come here!" I announced, ready to leave. However, just then, a man with lemon hair entered the room, apologizing for being late and introducing himself as Shiny, Park Jimin's manager.

"Please, Mr. Jeon, be seated," he said, extending his hand for a handshake. Despite my annoyance, I begrudgingly sat down.

Shiny asked about my script, but I was hesitant to share it with him. "Why the hell should I talk about my script to you? Where is your baby chick?" I asked rudely, referring to Jimin.

Shiny was offended and begged me to show some respect, but the producer intervened and asked about Jimin's whereabouts.

"Our Jimin is busy with three films with different directors, so I'm here in his place. If I like your story, I'll pass it on to him. If he agrees, we'll give you a confirmation call, and Jimin will officially act in your movie," Shiny explained.

"Oh, in that case, please ask your 'baby chick' to focus solely on those three movies because I don't think he would be suitable for the role in my film. Sorry!" I said angrily before storming out of the studio, disregarding the producer's attempts to stop me.

I stormed into my home, totally pissed off. Jin hyung had told me that since Jimin was a popular and busy guy, I needed to compromise. But what kind of way was that to select scripts? First, he should respect his career. If he did, he wouldn't have asked his manager to tell him about the script. The thing is, it was my fault for chasing after a kid. I sighed for the nth time and puffed on my cigarette until I heard Jin hyung screaming loudly in the living room, causing me to throw the cigarette and make my way downstairs.

"Why are you shouting--" I couldn't complete my sentence when I saw Jimin sitting in my living room with his manager.

"Jungkook, our Jimin is here to hear your script," Jin hyung ran towards me and informed me excitedly.

I eyed Jimin, and he did the same to me. He was really hot, and his gaze was so intimidating that I didn't know why my skin was covered in goosebumps.

"What are you waiting for? Don't be so egotistical," Jin hyung whispered in my ear and dragged me to the living room, making me sit opposite Jimin.

I exhaled his scent, which was lavender, a mild smell. Why was I even thinking about that?

"Mr. Jeon, I'm sorry. I wasn't aware of you. Are you the one who debuted him?" Shiny apologized to me.

"It's not your fault, Mr. Lemon. I think your boss should have told you about my presence. But it's okay. Since he's a kid, he'll gradually learn how to address a director's presence," I said, daringly looking straight at Jimin's face.

"I'm not a kid anymore, shiny!" Jimin replied, and I could see a little pout on his face. He was cute for a reason. Oh fuck! What the hell to you Jeon?

"Yes, yes, our Jiminie is all grown up!" Jin hyung said and he hit my foot to behave, and I winced in pain and glared at him.

Then I started explaining my script to him. But whenever I met his gaze, he stared at me like he was going to eat me. If he did this, then who was I? Jeon Jungkook? I could be more intimate, and I too stared at him more intimately and continued telling my script.

Soon I furrowed my eyebrows when his eyes fell onto my pants, which I quickly covered with a nearby pillow.

Pervert.

He smirked at me and changed his gaze into an innocent look. Such a flirt.

"That's the end," I finished and waited for him to say something.

"The story is so boring, Mr. Jeon. Why is there only one character playing the role? Will our Jimin play without a partner? And Jimin's fans will be mad if we don't have a song in his films. There are more people dying to see our Mochi's dance," the Shine boy complained.

"That's why I told you. My story is not for a baby chick. I'm looking for a strong, masculine boy to feature and not a boy with full makeup. There's a difference, Mr. Lemon," I said, clearly pissed off.

"I will do the film," Jimin said, gaining everyone's attention.

"But Jimin, the script—" Shiny's words were cut off when Jimin replied, "Are you the boss, or am I?"

"You are, and I'm sorry!" Shiny apologized and glared at me. I scoffed, wondering what he was so upset about.

"It's a very challenging role for me, and I can break free from my stereotype. Everyone has seen me in weak characters, so by doing this movie, I can prove that I'm not a kid and that I know how to act," Jimin said, daringly meeting my gaze.

I chuckled and didn't say much.

"Ask him to meet me at our studio, and I will arrange a media event to announce our movie," Jimin said to his manager before putting on his black sunglasses and leaving.

"I'm not done yet, Mr. Lemon. If your chick—I mean, your boss—wants to work with me, he needs to dye his hair black. No more earrings, and no makeup!" I emphasized the word "makeup" and saw his fist clench in anger, but I welcomed him to hit me if he wanted.

"Tell him that I'll do whatever it takes to match the script," Jimin replied challengingly before leaving our home.

Jin hyung kept shouting and scolding me, but my thoughts were all about Jimin. I didn't know why, but I had a feeling that something was going to happen. I shrugged off my delusions and started preparing for the movie.
