31.Signing the Documents

On the sixth day, my uncle confronted me about my opinion on my father's debt. I knew he wouldn't let it go and would continue to hassle me to work on the red zone area, but I wasn't going to give in to his demands. I'm only 16 years old, and I just couldn't handle it anymore. I decided to run away from home, without a clear plan in mind, just a desperate desire to escape my uncle's grip.

As I ran, I stumbled upon a car parked on the highway. I thought I might ask for a ride, but my smile quickly faded when I saw that my uncle and a girl were in the driver's seat. I realized then that I had fallen right into their trap.

"Jimin baby, where are you going this early? " He fake smiled at me.

I stood there gulping thickly and I know he will do any extent to hurt me.

"I--un---

Before I could speak, that girl started speaking to me.

"Gosh, are you Park Jimin? Wow! Finally I have seen you! " She giggled at me but all my eyes were all on my uncle.

"Jimin, are you ok? " I then jolted when my uncle was placing his hands on my shoulder, making me uncomfortable about his touch.

"Huh, yes. I'm" I quickly nodded my head and tried to back away from his grip.

"Wow! You are so pretty then I thought! " She added further.

"Get in, she wants to talk with you it seems. " My uncle gestured for me to enter the car. And I hesitantly entered into the car.

"Hello, I'm Lisa, Actor Kim Taehyung's secretary." She extended her hands near me and I hesitantly shook my hands.

"She is here to ask you to act opposite actor Kim Taehyung in a movie, Jimin" It was my uncle who informed me.

"Oh! " Was that all I could answer.

"Yes, he fell in love with you after seeing you on the annual day. And he was interested in working with you. If you say yes, I will convey him and you will get an opportunity to work with Mr Kim in his next movie. " Lisa added.

"Then my son is going to act with a superstar! Wow Jimin, your beauty really pays off! " My uncle grinned at me and I only nodded.

"What say? Are you interested in acting? "

"Of course, he is, right Jimin? " He nudged me.

"Y-es! "

I then signed a few documents whatever Lisa was showing. I was supposed to do a film with Taehyung for 3 years. Which I don't know why he wanted to act with me in the first place.

Lisa then offered to shift to Seoul and she handed me some advance to my uncle and she left us alone.

"Where are you going Jimin? " Was that all my uncle asked me.

"I--" I gulped and backed away.

"So you have decided to ran away from me? "

"No uncle. I went to ---"

"And you wanted me to pay all the debts, your father created? "

"NO, I WAS---"

He then grabbed my hair harshly and I ended my screaming aloud, causing him to slap on my cheeks. I fell down on the floor, as I never got hit by anyone in my life not as my parents. They treated me like a treasure. But now....

I placed my hands on my cheeks and started crying in front of him. He was still not satisfied, he then harshly grabbed my hair again, making me to yell in pain.

"If I hear you screaming again, trust me, I will do even more to make you sick! " He threaten me causing me to nod my head with my closed mouth.

"Now tell me where are you planning to go? "

"I just went out and I ---" He slapped me harshly.

"Again a lie! "

He started to hit me with his belt, making me sob silently. I was all curled up on the floor with my tears.

"Pack your things, we are going to Seoul. And always remember, I will soon find you, no matter how far you are." Was that all he announced.
