I lay on my bed, shirtless and on my stomach, since my back still had wounds and I couldn't lay straight.

I held the star chain that Mr. Kim had gifted me; it glistened brilliantly in my room.

I found myself wondering why he felt the need to give me a gift in the first place.

I then typed "obsession" on my phone to understand its meaning better.

'To completely fill your mind so that you cannot think of anything else.'

I read the sentence repeatedly until it sank in.

Was it a form of addiction? Similar to how I'm obsessed with using cell phones?

I pouted and decided to search for more information about Kim Taehyung.

There are lots and lots of stuff about him. I yawned and scrolled down the videos one by one until I drifted off.

"Did you talk with Mr. Kim?" My uncle's voice sent a shiver down my spine.

"Y-yes." I lied, bowing to him before heading to school.

I hopped into my car and reached for my phone to call Mr. Kim.

Damn, it was switched off. I had forgotten to charge it. I slapped my forehead and decided to charge my phone in the school.

Later, I was jotting down the notes as instructed by Ms. Leela, and I noticed a girl staring at me for quite some time.

"What?" I mouthed, and she narrowed her eyes in response.

Soon, I saw her writing something on my note.

I furrowed my brow and read,

'Do you know who Actor Kim Taehyung was dating?'

I wrote back on her note, replying,

'No

"Liar," she mouthed, glaring at me, and then she showed me a picture of myself looking through a telescope. Wait, wasn't that at Mr. Kim's place?

"How did you get this?" I almost exclaimed, causing Ms. Leela to shoot me a glare and instructing me to leave the classroom.

"It was Emmi who talked first," I protested, but Ms. Leela wasn't convinced.

So I stomped my feet in frustration and went to retrieve my phone, which I had charged in the conference hall.

"How did she have the photo?" That was all I could think about.

Just as my phone powered on, it began receiving a flurry of notifications from YouTube.

"Did I subscribe to all these channels?" I sighed, about to mute the notifications when my eyes narrowed at a video titled 'Mr. Kim's Evening Date.'
