After visiting Jungkook's home, I drove back to my penthouse."Jiminie, I think it's a police jeep!" Shiny pointed out, indicating a cop vehicle parked in front of my home.
But why was the police jeep here? I was clueless, just like Shiny, as we both entered my penthouse.
"Jimin, where are you? And why isn't Mr. Kim answering his phone?" My uncle shouted at me as soon as I entered.
He was sitting on the couch with a few cops, making me even more confused.
"Ah, finally I've met you," the police officer grinned and showed me his ID card.
Mingyu Kim, Division II Police Officer.
"Why are you here?" I asked boldly, not letting him see my fear.
"I'm here for an investigation. Can we talk alone, Mr. Park?" He asked, and I wondered why he wanted to talk to me alone.
"Look, Officer Kim, if you want to talk to Jiminie, you'll need permission from Mr. Kim Taehyung," Shiny panicked, but the officer handed me a warrant letter.
We both took the paper, and according to the law, he had the right to speak to me.
I followed Officer Kim to a separate room in my penthouse, away from my uncle's prying eyes.
As I entered the room with Officer Kim, my anxiety intensified. The gravity of the situation weighed heavily on me, and I couldn't shake off the feeling of unease. The officer's stern expression only added to my fear, making me wonder what kind of revelations were about to unfold.
Sensing my apprehension, Officer Kim took a deep breath and glanced at me with a reassuring look. "Mr. Park, I understand that this situation might be overwhelming for you. I want to assure you that we're here to uncover the truth, and your cooperation is crucial."
His words did little to quell the turmoil inside me, but his tone was surprisingly gentle. I nodded, trying to steady my nerves as I took a seat across from him.
"Let me start by introducing myself properly," Officer Kim began, his demeanor shifting from authoritative to more approachable. "I'm Mingyu Kim, and I'm part of a Crime branch division."
His introduction brought a slight relief, but still his presence sent a shiver down my spine, as it hinted at how deep and far-reaching this investigation might be.
"Mr. Park, we're investigating a case of suicidal case.," Officer Kim began, getting straight to the point.
"Suicidal case?" I furrowed my brow in confusion, and he handed me a group of photos.
"Do you know them?" he asked, his gaze intent on me.
"Yes." My heart raced as I recognized the faces, and he seemed to analyze my response carefully.
"Can you tell me how you know them?" he inquired further.
"When I began my acting career, they visited my old apartment to discuss a script, and Daehyun was my first producer," I explained.
"That's all?"
I nodded, feeling the weight of his scrutiny.
"Can you elaborate on any connections you might have had with them?"
"Connections? I barely interacted with them beyond work-related discussions. They were producers and a director to me, nothing more," I stammered, my voice betraying my anxiety.
