9.Signing the Documents

I was shown a list of documents while standing next to Lisa. Suddenly, a big producer greeted me and Lisa informed me that he was the producer of my film.

I was surprised, but I didn't care as long as he wasn't interfering with my story. I read through all the documents, which proved that I would be directing a film featuring Taehyung, me, producer and Hoseok. However, I noticed that someone else's name was listed as the main lead.

" I think,you have mistakenly wrote some other's name in the documents and the actor who will play opposite Mr Kim was Jung Hoseok,not Park Jimin" I informed Lisa about it, and she told me that Taehyung wanted to cast Jimin to play alongside him. This made me furious.

"Yes, Park Jimin would be the perfect fit for our Taehyung,and, right now, Jimin's tiktok is trending now and teens are addicted to his beauty and gosh, his dancing style is a chef kiss!! So it will be best, if we introduce him under my banner, and who knows, our film will get more recognition and even an Oscar." the producer announced, causing me to feel frustrated.

I stood up from my seat in anger. Who were they to consider changing the cast? It was my story, and I had put a lot of thought into making it successful. I didn't want to make any changes because I was already stuck with my characters.

"I'm sorry, but I don't think I can direct this film if you plan to change the cast," I said, still angry. "If your hero wants to act under my direction, then please inform him that Jung Hoseok will play the opposite role. Also, I don't appreciate people meddling with my plots."

I was about to leave when the producer spoke up again.

"You can't turn down Taehyung; it will ruin your career. As a newbie, I'll let it slide this time. Don't let your ego ruin your chances. There are many directors waiting for an opportunity like this, so make a wise decision," he said.

I clenched my fists and left without saying anything.
