"What the hell are you doing? You have to stand up straight and what's with the exposed shoulder? Cut, cut, cut!"
I shouted in annoyance as the actor clearly had no idea how to act. As I mentioned before, he was just a pretty face with no talent.
The boy looked at me with tears streaming down his face. "Come and show me how to act, then I will act accordingly," he shouted through his sobs.
"Listen kid, my job is to direct the film. Please leave the set if you cannot perform," I barked into the microphone, causing him to glare at me with his teary eyes.
I didn't care, as I didn't want him in my movie.
"Action!" I shouted again, not wanting to waste any more time arguing with a child. He acted out the scene, but it was still terrible.
I angrily dropped my mic and called Hoseok to act out the scene. The TikTok boy continued to sob and watched as Hoseok delivered a great performance, leaving everyone on the set clapping. This was exactly what I wanted for my movie.
"I got what you want, Director-nim," the TikTok beauty announced, and I said "Action."
"Cut," I said and started to pack my things. I could see disappointment in his eyes, and I guessed he was expecting me to review his acting this time.
I shook my head and began packing my things to leave. Then I heard a soft knock on my door.
I saw the kid standing outside and raised my eyebrows, wondering what he was doing there.
"I'm not here to apologize, okay? If you think that's why I'm here, then forget it," he said in a childish tone.
"Listen, kid. I don't even consider you worthy of being my enemy. And I'm sorry, but you'll have to grow up a bit to meet my requirements," I said, pointing at his head.
"Same here. I'm not sorry either. You're not important enough to warrant an apology," he retorted, clearly irritated.
"Thank you," I said, smiling with annoyance and not bothering with him any further.
"I'm here because I'm still playing the role opposite Taehyung hyung, and I wanted to know more about the story. I mean, I still don't even know what movie we're making!" he said, scratching his neck.
Seriously?
"Haven't you read the script?" I asked, giving him a 'done' expression.
"I have, but it's full of lengthy dialogue and I don't really understand how this sci-fi stuff works. You know what? I hate science," he pouted, forgetting that we were just arguing.
"What grade are you in?" I asked, my arms folded as I waited for his answer.
"12th grade," he said proudly.
I looked him up and down, wondering if he was lying about his age or not.
"You're staring at me for a long time. Don't worry, though. I'm Park Jimin, someone you can't fall for!" he said, dramatically flicking back his hair.
"Stare? At you?" I laughed out loud, causing him to pout in annoyance.
"Even if there were only you and me left in the world, I'd still choose to ignore you. So please, don't be so overconfident. As far as I'm concerned, you're just a person painted with beauty," I stated and left without giving him a chance to respond.
And that's how our first meeting ended. I want to slap mentally for hurting him and I was ashamed to protect him. I'm sorry love.
