-ANASTASSIA POV-

I woke up to something shuffle next to me. My eyes fluttered open and I saw myself being engulfed by Bucky. His blue eyes were glistening due to the sunlight falling over him through the window and they gazed right at me. "Stop staring at me, weirdo." I said. "I'm just looking at the most beautiful woman in front of me." he said in his raspy morning voice. I giggled at this. "What?" he asked confused. "Did you read that over an online dating app?" I asked as I continued to laugh. "Yeah. Sam showed me that." he said still confused. "It's cheesy!" "But you love it." he said and then attacked me with small kissed over my jaw and neck making me whimper softly. "Bucky" I whisper softly making him look up at me. "Yes doll?" he asked innocently. The pure look of love and compassion in his eyes gave me a thousand butterflies in my stomach. "Nothing" I said with a smile. "You sure? I don't want to make you feel uneasy or imposed-" "Bucky its all good." I assured him. "So you taking me out today right?" I asked him. "Yep. Done with the planning time." "Well then you better hurry. Less than 12 hours" I said with a small laugh. He nodded and kissed me once more before we both started our day. Soon after he left to go to his room, I got ready for gym. Today was supposed to my first day back at training.

I wore my black gym shorts along with a mint green sports bra and tied my hair up in a high ponytail as I slipped on my shoes and then left my room with my phone. I headed to the kitchen to make my morning smoothie. There I found Sam and Wanda chatting among themselves until Wanda saw me entering the space. "Good morning, sunshine." she wished me. "Good morning to you too and Sammie." I said with a smile as I walked to the refrigerator. "How's the first day back looking?" he asked. "It's going pretty good." I said thinking of the time I spent with Bucky. A smile creeped on my face while my back faced the two Avengers. I heard Wanda clear her throat making me turn around to see her. She held out a plate of pancakes and syrup along with a glass of strawberry milkshake in front of her. "We don't want you to start your day with just a bland smoothie now, do we?" she said. "This so good. Thankyou guys." I said happily and started eating it with them. After sometime, I left for the gym with a bottle of water and saw that the area was empty. 

I started to stretch a bit and then headed to a running treadmill and started on it. I ran for an hour to make me sweat a bit and then got down. I drank a sip of water and then headed to put on the strap bands on my hands before I got to punching the sand bags. I kept punching on them hard for an hour till I heard the gym door open and saw the blue eyed blond man enter the hall and stop in his place when he saw me there. I decided to speak up before he would leave. "Don't worry, I'll leave from here." I said as I removed the straps from over my hands and gave him a look. "Ana, stop-" he started. "No Steve! You wanted to ignore me, right? So, I am leaving. Have fun punching the bags." I said as I started walking out but he held my wrist to make me stop. "Ana I'm sorry. I just- I just thought you wanted space from me to heal yourself. You blamed me all that night and so I started avoiding my presence with you to make you comfortable." "That is no reason Steve. I was hurt to know that you all talked about me behind my back like that. I was furious because I had not expected that from you or Bucky. I trusted you two with my everything, I trusted you with my secrets. Remember that day in the ship? I only trusted to be comforted by you that day. I talked to others they forgave me and I forgave them for what had happened but you, you just fucking vanished and avoided me." I said with tears now brimming my eyes.

"It broke me when I had said all that stuff to you and I am very sorry for that but seeing you avoid me and not forgive me broke me even more. I thought that maybe you would understand me unlike others and stand up for me when they talked but no, you didn't. But I'm ready to move on from that now. I just want my best friend back." "Ana I-" "Please, Steve. I miss being beside my best friend." I said and looked down to hid my tears when he didn't reply but he suddenly pulled me in for a hug. I hugged him back. "I'm sorry I made you feel like that. I missed you too." he said with a slight break in his voice. After we made up, we trained for a bit and then left the hall to sit with the rest of the team. 

-NATASHA POV-

I was sitting in the living room listening to some hard metal on my headphones when I saw Bucky enter along with Sam who was swooning over him. Those two never fail to entertain me. I lowered the music to be able to listen to them. "Man, you've scored a great deal. I knew something was up she was looking bright today." Sam said. 'She'? Who were they talking about. "I just want it to be a great time for her Sam. I really do like her." Bucky replied. Ok that's enough. Ana has liked Bucky even before she even admitted it to herself. I must know who this bitch this guy really liked. "Who's the lucky girl, Barnes?" I asked as I removed my headphones. "I thought you were listening to music." "I am multi-tasking" I said with a smirk. "So, who's she?" I asked him again. He let out a sigh before looking at Sam who was literally on his tip toes. "Its Ana!" the pigeon man exclaimed with joy. "Good god! Finally you grew a pair to ask her out Barnes!" I fist bumped in the air while Sam screamed like a fan girl. "God who's screaming so awfully?" Tony grumbled as he entered the space. "Barnes asked Ana out!" Sam and I said at the same time. "Oh my- fuck- when's the wedding?" he asked jumpingly. "Guys, I am supposed to take her on the first date. All we did was confess our feelings and kissed. I want it to be a perfect evening for her." Bucky said. "No worries I've got it covered. Just tell me her preferences, I'll arrange some restaurant for you guys." Tony offered and left with Barnes to go to his office to discuss further. Sam left too and I texted Wanda about it immediately. 

She entered the room hurriedly and attacked me with questions. "What, how and when?" "Barnes is taking Ana for a date, they both confessed and it happened yesterday." I said and she squealed. Suddenly she stopped and looked at me wide eyed. "We have to get her ready for the date then. Oh my god, Nat. It's so much to do. Dress, hair, makeup-" "What's up ladies?" I heard Ana say as she now stood in the doorway. Wanda and I ran to her and engulfed her into a bone crushing hug. "Guys-"she started to talk but was immediately cut off mid sentence by Wanda. "You don't tell us ?!!" "Oh so you all know it.." she said with a smile. "Know what?" we heard someone else say this time. I turned around and saw Steve standing with a confused look on his face. Oh boy, this was gonna be a long day.
