Grayson's POV
I sit with Nini on my lap as Carlos explains his bored game more and I smile as I look at it
"This is...amazing Carlos..also glee is a masterpiece" I say causing everyone to laugh before Carlos says that the knights have to choose, I'm on the wildcats side with Nini who has not stopped messing with my ear
"Nini stop, you know my ears are ticklish" I say with a laugh as my head jerks to the side causing her to laugh, I tickle her sides a bit causing g her to laugh out
"Ok you two chill....we're playing a game" Carlos says teasingly and I smile a bit, I look over to see Ricky smile slightly then look back at Ashlyn and Gina as they sing this very messed up rendition of what I've been looking for to the rhythm of get ya head in the game
I listen and cringe a bit as I watch them struggle, we all laugh and take our turn
"Alright we're gonna bop" EJ says after taking the spin
"Pick one member from each team" Carlos says and everyone starts talking
"Grayson should definitely go...yea gray should do it" Everyone agrees and I laugh and shrug
I stand up and see Ricky is standing in front of me causing me to look at him awkwardly and he does the same
"Your challenge is to stare at your partner and do the Sharpay and Ryan warmup thing for 60 seconds straight without laughing....or killing each other" Carlos says and I laugh a little
"That won't be an issue" I say and I feel NiNi grab my hand, I smile a bit and Ricky smiles at me too
"Ok...go" Carlos says and I start doing the warmups and as I watch Ricky's face I try to hold in my laugh as he dies the same
I crack a smile and he does too, he tries to make me laugh as I do the same till he ultimately fails causing us all to laugh
A while later, I get up from the couch and see Gina and Nini talking causing me to smile a bit, Nini walks past me and I look at my sister who is looking a little awkwardly
"Sleep over" I say teasingly and she laughs awkwardly
"I am...so happy, never been invited to one" Gina says and I laugh a little as I celebrate with her
"Me neither....but come in let's go have fun" I say just as I hear Carlos behind us
"Come on twin flames" Carlos yells for us and I laugh before leading my sister back to the couch, this time I sit on NiNi's lap and she giggles before wrapping her arms around me
"Now...let's start the trivia questions to break the tie" Carlos says and starts rattling off questions, I answer a few and so does the opposing team
"How do you know so much" Nini asks in a laugh
"I don't know...well I was obsessed with the movie" I say shyly and Nini laugh and cuddles into me a bit more as we keep playing but EJ fucks it up for us and the Knights win
I smile as I watch my sister get crowed with her pin before taking a pic with everyone on her team
"I have to share this with my loved ones....mom mom...Is Chandler there....ok, two things...one I was just crowned the queen of crazy town and two....can Gray and I spend the night at Ashlyn's house" Gina asks and I look at her hopefully
"Mom mom I can't hear you...your on speaker" Gina says before putting out mom on speaker and ask everyone everyone to say happy thanksgiving to our mom which they do
"Aww thank you....Gina honey...can you take me off speaker and talk to me with your sister" Our mom asks and I frown a bit beside looking at Nini then Gina
I get up and walk out of the area and we sit in the steps, I feel a nervous feeling in my stomach as I look at the phone
"What's going on mom...you have that voice" I say into the phone
"I was gonna tell you both first thing in the morning" Mom starts
"What is it" Gina asks
"Honey...I got a call from the coordinators office..in Washington"She says and my heart drops
"No...please don't" I say angrily as I move away from the phone
"Babies.....listen to me please" She says and I shake my head
"No...this can't be happening' I say and Gina grabs my hand
"We have to go...it's another emergency" Mom says and I roll my eyes
"They can't keep doing this, we just got here!" Gina says loudly and I scoff
"And I told them that baby" Mom says and I look over to see Ricky and Nini looking at us, I lead Gina away and into a more private area of the house
"I don't understand how they can just move us however they want" Gina says
"And you allow it" I say back
"Grayson...Gina I know this is hard but please...calm down" She says and I scoff
"How long do we have" Gina says
"10 days....I'm so sorry you guys but-
"We can stay with Dad....at least I am" I say before hanging up, I run my hands through my hair angrily before walking off
"Grayson" I hear behind me, I turn around to see Nini standing there and I feel myself wanting to break down
"Come here" she says and I just walk over to her and she pulls me in as I start crying on her shoulder
I need to stay....she can't do this to us again
