„sooo i was thinking if we could attend to portugal vs ghana together?"

„where did you get the tickets?"

„from a portugese player , i met him yesterday and he offered me two"

„yeah i'd love to"

he snuggled closer into my shoulder and i calmingly chatted to sira on my phone . i met sira a few weeks ago , she was ferran torres' girlfriend and we get along very well .

„who are you texting?"

„sira"

„ferrans girl?"

„mhm , i am going to meet up with her tomorrow evening"

JOÃOS POV | before the match

i am very excited to see amara again . i knew that she was dating the barçelona player pablo gavi , but there was something about her that just won't let me accept it . while warming up , i looked up into the row where she was supposed to sit and i found her already looking at me . oh? i smiled at her and she returned it , her boyfriend on the left not noticing . sneaky .

the game started and i won't lie i am extremely nervous . not because she is here , no because this is the world cup . loosing one game could mean that we will be sent home .

the first half ended with us leading 1-0 due cristianos penalty . after the half time in which our trainer motivated us to keep going and to try to score ghana still managed to score . 1-1 now . i was getting even more anxious about loosing .

then , in the 62' minute , bernando passed me the ball and i ran . i was alone , only one ghana defender right behind me . i entered the box and kicked the ball in . we were leading!!! running to the corner , near amaras seat i did an „L" for linda and looked for her in the crowd , to find her clapping with her boyfriend .

AMARAS POV

what the hell . he just dedicated his goal for me . i don't think gavi noticed that it was for me , but i did tell him earlier that joão was being flirty and stuff . i mean he is good looking , we cannot lie about that , but i love gavi . only gavi . speaking of him , he reacted normal . a bit jealous but more mad and happy that i told him about it .

portugal won 3-2 with ghana scoring last minute , doing ronaldos „sui" celebration . embarrassing , honestly . after the game , i heard someone call my name and turned around , just to see joão there .

„joão?"

„i wanted to see you before you leave"

„oh"

gavi shot him a death stare , but he didn't care .

„have you seen my celebration?"

he smirked , his white and perfect teeth showing .

„yes i did . i still have a boyfriend , joão . you can't keep doing those things"

he said , stepping closer .

„flirting with me , it's wrong"

we held eye contact . there's something about his eyes i swear .

i looked at gavi who looked like he was going to beat joãos ass right now . i would let him tbh .

back at the hotel we talked about the conversation and when i mentioned that joão told me that i don't seem happy with him , he looked sad .
