Day Thirteen
~

Keigo woke up with a pounding headache. He rolled over in the bed, trying to find a comfier position, but felt a sudden burning sensation in his stomach.

It was like, an aching emptiness, and once the saliva built up in his mouth, he knew.

He was going to be sick.

Keigo leapt out of the bed, ramming the bathroom door into the wall when he pushed it open. To his relief, the toilet lid was already up when he stuck his head over it, and let out his stomach juices.
He panted, dropping onto the floor since his knees were weak now, and he was breathing heavily, trying to gain oxygen once more.

Fuck, did I eat anything last night?

No. Last night he had gone straight to bed after getting back to the hotel. Damnit, he hoped Touya had gotten his voicemail. He hadn't even explained everything that had happened.

Keigo was about to rub his eyes, but thought better of it since he had been clutching the toilet bowl. He stood up and washed his hands, sighing at his forlorn reflection in the mirror.
Showering seemed like a really good idea right now, so he stripped and stepped in, slicking his wet hair back with two hands. A grunt left him as he began to scrub himself down, being careful with the casualites on his thigh and arm.

The mark on his thigh was more like a puncture wound from the dart, but the area around it was red and a little swollen. An allergic reaction? He didn't know.  However, the wound on his arm was much more worse. There was an obvious burn scar - nothing like Dabi's, of course. It was only around three inches long - but the skin there was rough. It hurt a bit to touch, but Keigo was sure it'd be fine soon enough.

Once he got out he rummaged around in the cupboards for ointment of some sort of gently rubbed that on the coarse skin. When finished and was back in the bedroom, he put on his clothes, rolling up the sleeve of his shirt so that it wouldn't stick. After that he swung his backpack over his shoulder and got his phone that had been on charge the entire time - he had forgotten about it, but at least now it had 100 percent. He checked the time.

12:47pm

Huh, he'd been asleep for a really long time.
Not like it mattered. The whereabouts of his mother where still unknown to him, so it's not like she would be waiting for him or something, right?

Before leaving he grabbed his hoody that was sprawled over the bed and tied it around his waist. Opening the door, he gave the room one last look before heading out.

-

While out, Keigo felt self conscious. He had nothing to cover his hair with, but he kept telling himself nobody would give him a second glance because of his lack of wings.

It was in this area that he had been caught though - Keigo had been walking back to that small town his mother's eyeball had led him to. It was probably going back to her, so he suspected she might live in or around the town he chased the eyeball.

"Oh yeah, follow the mysterious floating eyeball to find your mother. Simple," he mumbled to himself. A bypasser gave him an odd look and he sighed, heading into an alleyway to slip on his hoody. He pulled on his drawstrings and waited at the entrance of the alleyway.

Obviously he had no idea which house really was the home of his mother, but maybe one of the locals could tell him. Well, more like he'd force it out of them - he just had to...'catch' one.

A young woman passed and Keigo groaned - he was hoping for a man, it'd be less weird then - but he carried on nonetheless, yanking her into the alleyway by her arm.
