“A lot of you are still here. Don't you have jobs? Some sort of work to do?” From the bathroom, Touya was now in the back room on the couch.
Shimura shrugged, drumming his fingers on his thigh. He shifted his legs around, placing his ankle on his opposite knee. His eyes were focused on the big screen on the wall, which Spinner was still playing on after being previously told to move. It seemed he was a dedicated gamer.
“We take turns,” Shimura said. “Sako is out on the streets-”
“He's a male prostitute?”
“No, dimwit. He's a magician. It's part of his quirk, or something. He does tricks and things. People pay to see that shit. Oh, he's also a good gambler, and people really waste their savings when it comes to betting.”
“Right.” Shimura nodded and went on.
“Then Toga goes out whenever to mug people she thinks are attractive.”
Touya wrinkled his nose.
“But overall, Jin is our best man. He can clone people, you know. Makes it easier to frame someone else for the crime - don't judge us. You've probably done worse. Anyway, Jin will usually come back with a haul that lasts a whole week. Although…” Shimura's tone hardened. “Some people take advantage of the money and have no regard for the electricity bills.”
Spinner, oblivious to the conversation, said nothing.
“Anyway, we'll be expecting someone you should meet soon, so you had better wake up your friend,” Shimura said, getting up. “And mind you, don't do anything stupid if you still want a bed to sleep in tonight.”

Keigo waited anxiously in the bar room, tapping his foot. He and Touya were still in their prison clothes, and he felt gross. Getting rained on the night before didn't exactly count as a shower.
He had woken up in the bed alone, simply laying silently while creating scenarios in his head for meeting his parents again. At least his mother. And although he did want to see him at some point, Keigo's dad could die in a hole for all he cared. He was the one who had blamed their family's unfortunate lifestyle on him, saying if he had never been born, maybe his life would be easier.
Tomie, his mother, wasn't far off either. She was blamed for conceiving such a ‘useless child,’ and constantly beaten when her husband had too much too drink, all while Keigo would play alone in the next room, pretending not to hear her anguished cries of pain and sorrow. However, she and Keigo didn't talk back to him once. They never said a single word about the horrible life they were living, for both of them were afraid of further abuse, or worse, ending up dead.
If he was desperate, Keigo had no doubt that his father would have killed him. (SHIT ITS GETTIN TOO DEEP-)
He was thankful for the distraction of his thoughts when Touya had come into the room then and said that they both had to get their asses to the bar. So they did, and now they were here. The atmosphere was strangely tense, with just four men in the room, two of them not knowing who exactly they awaited. Jin was there, but neither Touya nor Keigo knew why, since this ‘meeting’ didn't seem important to their other members considering Spinner who was in the back room, gaming.
Finally the door opened, and in entered a man in a purple blazer. He was unshaven with greying hair, and round silver spectacles sat on the bridge of his nose. Possibly late thirties, early forties, Keigo thought. But who was he?
The man peered at each of the people in the room individually, his eyes resting on a certain someone. From his pocket he brought out a small cardboard box of cigarettes.
