CHAPTER 4
When Friday came, we performed basic taekwondo in our Physical Education subject. I was not prepared for this.
We, the first section of Grade 11 - Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) strand, were informed that Grade 11 - Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) strand will join us. They were also in the first section.
I was a bit excited because Kaldhi was with us. He is also a first section STEM student so I was expecting him here unless he had a duty in the Student Council.
"Move faster, classmates! Mr. Ledesma was already in the gymnasium." Jeff clapped his hands, one of my classmates, while we were in the changing room.
I got my gray tumbler and leave the changing room. When I arrived in the gymnasium. All students were assembled. Students were sit in an indian seat and all were quiet and discipline. I found my own line to sit and was looking around to see Kaldhi and Ritzieh. Badly, I did not see them.
After a seconds, Mr. Ledesma introduced two taekwondo professional coaches to us. The activity lasted for an hour and I felt really exhausted. My sweats were dropping and I felt sticky. I don't like to see myself in the mirror. I fvcking need to take a bath.
Our taekwondo performance was enjoyable, and I learnt a lot of basics. After that, I went back to the changing room to fix my things and of course to take a bath. I felt so itchy and dirty. It was relaxing when the cold water showered my entire body.
"Water." Kaldhi offered me a mineral bottled water. "You look like a shit." He joked but that was not funny.
He was waiting for me outside the changing room until I finished. He called me a 'shit' and that was so offensive without realizing that I took a bath just to became fresh.
Kaldhi texted me earlier, asking if where I am because he did not see me in the gymnasium. He was finding me either huh.
"Fvck you, bastard!" I said annoyedly.
It was a good experience to have that kind of activity. Honestly, I do not have an enough exercise these past few weeks and the taekwondo was really a good help to improve my energy.
Ritzieh texted me, on the other hand, that she was already in our classroom with our girl classmates. I sighed. Kaldhi and I accompanied each other to the school canteen to eat something.
"How is your relationship with your other friends or colleagues?" I asked him. "The ones who's with you during lunch." I asked him.
Ever since the start of our Senior High School year, we did not even eat lunch together. He was always occupied a lot of times, considered that he is an officer of our school. He has a lot of responsibilities.
"I am always in our office so I don't have time to be with them. We rarely eat together. Why did you ask?"
"Just curious."
"How about you?" He asked me back.
"I am with Ritzieh always. I am alone sometimes because I need a peace. Ritzieh understood me if that is the case. And Ritzieh was eating with her cousins if she was not with me." I informed Kaldhi about that information
"If only I am not busy during those times. I should be with you. I'm sorry."
"Why should you say sorry? You bastard." I said and laughed. "I understand. You have responsibilities and I have a business too. Atleast we were together during mornings, sometimes recess, and after classes in the afternoon." I added.
I observed Kaldhi while we were eating. I waved my right hand in front of his face until I got his attention. He was thinking too deep again. Can't he tell me what's going on?
"Is there something you wanna say?" I asked him. "I need to go in my next class now."
"Nothing." He replied. "I am just happy because I'm with you."
I laughed. "You are so corny, Kaldhi." And stand. "See you later. Bastard." I smirked. "Don't stress yourself too much." Then, leave him.
