CHAPTER 16
I took a deep breath before entering my class. I pressured myself to accomplish the school works that I missed just like my Reflective Essay in 21st Century. Good thing Ritzieh helped me.
Micah also informed me that our practice of table tennis had already began yesterday that is why I need to cope up with that. She texted me to bring a sports clothes because after our classes we will practice and have drills for hours. Can I do this? Fvck!
"Good Morning, Mrs. Horathe. Will you please excuse, Mr. Illinois for a moment? Look. Mr. Burdeos needed to talk to him."
I was solving the problem of our Statistics and Probability subject when Kaldhi excuse me in the class. Our subject teacher nodded.
I did not say anything and just follow Kaldhi's footsteps. I was not in the mood to talk to him because I felt awkward after our sex last night. Yes, we did it again. I ashamed myself because of doing that and Kaldhi looked like he does not care. Ritzieh, on the other hand, slept in our guest room while Kaldhi and I were doing that shit. We were again cheating to Ritzieh.
"I'm sorry about last night." Kaldhi began the conversation. "I just can't stop myself for doing that."
"We should stop this stupidity Kaldhi. We were cheating to your girlfriend, my best friend!" I told him with disappointment.
"What if we can't?"
"We can, Kaldhi! We can!" I sounded mad and positive. "I don't want to ruin our friendship. We've been friends for almost a decade and I don't want to lose it because of this shit. Please, be contented and consistent to Ritzieh." I added. "I don't want to lose her either."
"Yeah. I am sorry."
I tapped his shoulders twice and smiled when I realized something.
"Wait, don't you have a class?" I changed the topic.
"I do but our adviser told me to accompany Nikto, the one who accidentally hit you by a ball. He's my classmate." He explained.
I have no idea why my heart beats fast immediately when I entered in the Principal's office. It was freezing inside. I saw the worried face of Nikto when our eyes met. I just smiled at him so that he felt comfortable.
Our school principal, Mr. Burdeos, started the conversation. He asked me what kind of punishment I will suggest so that Nikto can be punished. I was stunned because of that. Because first, that was an accident. Second, they were preparing for the City Meet.
"Sir, I am against that Nikto deserve to be punished because first and foremost that was a game." I replied. "That is why I suggest that he should just focus to his game. That's all." I added with a calm tone.
"In the first place, Mr. Illinois he deserves to be punished even that was an accident. You were hit by a ball during breaktime and they were not supposed to play because according to their coach they were given a time to break and rest." Mr. Burdeos explained.
"I understood Sir. But my decision was final."
"Are you sure?" Mr. Burdeos made sure about my answer.
"Hundred percent sure, Sir."
Nikto smiled until we shook a hand. He gave me a genuine hug too. "Thank you, Ihstan."
