CHAPTER 19

"Welcome to legal age, Ritzieh."

Ritzieh was six years old and was late to send in Nursery school. That is why she was older than us. She was the first in our batch to celebrate her debut and welcome legality.

They rented a whole resort just to happen her dream debut. She was very beautiful plus her skin tone match the maroon gown that we decided to pick for her. I was speechless.

I looked at Kaldhi who is looking at Ritzieh, his girlfriend, and he was smiling. Kaldhi was wearing a korean grey suit that was perfectly fitted to him. The awra of his necktie made him sexier. Well, Kaldhi always looked handsome, but he is now a shit and stupid aside from being a bastard.

Our classmates were very happy to be here too. Jeff and Micah which were very sweet in our table made my night envious. They looked adorable.

"Where are you going?"

"Comfort room."

I stood and proceeded to powder room when Kaldhi followed me. I felt the awkwardness of our atmosphere but he seems that he does not feel it. Our eyes met in the mirror but I continue to wash my hands. I was about to leave when he grabbed my left hand.

"Not tonight, Kaldhi."

"Yeah. I am sorry."

The birthday celebration went smoothly until the 18 roses came. The host gave us some time to prepare which was a good thing. When Ritzieh was already receiving flowers. She was already crying while dancing. She chose the most important boys in her life including us as her friends, her uncles, and her grandparents, and most especially, her dad. Her first dance was his dad.

Ritzieh became the center of attraction in her event. Obviously! The camera had been flashing at her since the beginning of the programme

"Happy birthday, bitch! I hope you have a great day tonight." I told her when it's my turn to dance her. "You are splendid." I complimented before giving my rose flower.

"Wait, bitch! Are you crying? Common!" She laughed at my reaction. "Well, thank you for becoming part of my life. I hope you won't die tomorrow." We both laughed.

While Ritzieh and I were dancing I easily felt the guilt. The cheating scenario. I am a snake. I was not prepared to lose Ritzieh because she is my only girl bestfriend and having her in my life make the things possible and comfortable. She contributed a huge impact in my existence and I don't want to waste that because of my stupidity with her boyfriend, Kaldhi.

"You know when we became friends in this academic school year. I felt that we were destined to heal each other because of our traumas. That is why no matter what happened we should still remain friends. I wanted you to heal me - when you know, when there were burdens, and I wanted myself to heal you either." I told her and she was already crying too. "Fvck! I should not be emotional right now, bitch." I chuckled.

When the host adjusted he called Kaldhi to dance with Ritzieh. Kaldhi was the last dance. Everyone clapped and Ritzieh was feeling shy. I smiled at them because of their genuine feelings and sweetness. I wiped my tears feeling guilty again. I secretly exited in the event and sighed.

Until I lately realized that I don't want to lose them. That is why I need to avoid the temptation because of Kaldhi. I will bring back the old us and delete all the past mistakes we have done.
