Chapter 3 - It must be love, love, love~

- {Shadow pov} -

"You look happy" Rouge spotted me, eating an apple on the sofa.

"Shut up" I threatened, turning away from her, smiling.

I couldn't stop thinking about what had happened... It was okay right? Sonic wasn't mad? Right?

Im freaking out!

"Did something happen with blue~" She flew over and started teasing me.

"Wha-"

This is what I hated about Rouge, she was quick to pick up on things and teased people about it.

I shoved my hand in her face, stopping her from getting any closer.

"What are you on about?" I tried acting dumb, but inside my heart was doing loop-de-loops, and my head was spinning.

"Ugh, rude. I just did my makeup" She complained, getting my hand off her face.

I walked away from her, and made my way to the kitchen. Maybe food could distract me...

I got some leftover pancakes from the other day and put the usual on them - strawberries and bananas - and sat in the same seat as the day prior.

I stared down at my food and buried my head in my hands. My face was burning hot!

Damn that hedgehog.

...

"Oh Shadow's already in here"

I turned around and saw everyone, including Sonic, walking into the room.

Sonic's head was held low but I could see his lips forming a smile just at the sides.

I chuckled to myself.

"Hopefully we can swim today, right Sonic?" Amy nudged Sonic, causing him to jump and freak out.

"It's the second day Ames, give me a break" Sonic complained. I was jealous of the nickname he had used, I thought I was the only one he had a nickname for...

"Technically the third" Sticks added, making her way to the counter.

"You'll never be able to face your fears if you keep stalling Sonic" Tails stated, standing beside him.

"Yeah yeah, whatever" Sonic walked to the counter and started grabbing stuff for his breakfast.

Everyone else did the same.

"I'll have to make some more pancakes at this rate" Amy giggled, as Sonic was finishing up the Nutella on his.

"Chocolate, again?" Knuckles looked over Sonic's shoulder as I couldn't mind my own business.

"Wha-" Sonic shrieked, as Knuckles lifted him up in the air.

"You won't be able to defeat Eggman with a weak body like this. How many times have I told you, muscles are everything!"

"Knuckles leave him be" Amy and the others laughed.

"Let me down!" Sonic demanded, looking cute as always.

"Haha!" Knuckles held him high, not listening.

Sonic ended up kicking Knuckles in the face and he got free. Knuckles was lying on the floor, unconscious.

"Bet muscles can't do that!" Sonic proudly said, staring down at Knuckles.

"Get off the counter Sonic!"

He was crouching down, looking like a frog.

"Don't you think that was a bit too harsh" Tails awkwardly said, staring down at the unconscious echidna.
