𝙬𝙚𝙩 𝙛𝙞𝙨𝙩

ANNA'S POV

"God, you're so good." Jersey tells me as he keeps kissing me.

We were in a room not too far from everyone else. It was a very modern bedroom, with a huge window overlooking the back of the house.

"Yeah," I keep kissing her. " I know."

Jersey pushes me against the feet of the bed forcing me to get on it while she takes off her shirt and sits on top of me.

My hand caresses her bare back until it reaches the hook of the bra.

All of a sudden, I hear people screaming outside in the pool.

"What's going on?" I say as Jersey continues to kiss me, not paying attention to what I'm saying.

"It's gonna be another fight, don't worry." Jersey takes off my shirt and I lose interest in what's happening outside.

At a certain point.

One *SPLASH* accompanied by the screams and laughter of the people.

"EVA!" someone screams from outside.

My eyes shut, my lips stiffen, and before I know it, I'm running down the stairs. In all hurry I put on the shirt I took before leaving the room.

Before I left Jersey.

I make my way through the crowd, and I start to hear two screams very distinct from all the others.

"GO SAB, MAKE HER SPIT BLOOD!"

Sab?

I can finally be in the front row and I don't believe what my eyes see.

Sab and Ag are hardly fighting. They grab each other's hair and tug.

I try to get between the two of them and, dodging a few shots, I manage to divide them taking both by the shirt.

"Will you stop?!" I yell at them who stop kicking each other.

"Sure, I just want to make her eat her hands so we can see if she touches one of us again," Sab tilts her head to let me know where Eva was.

The girl I'd do anything for was lying on the floor soaking wet while Cooper was giving her CPR.

The world falls apart on me.

I close my eyes and, out of anger, I shake Ag's shirt.

"Get out, blondie." Ag tries to get away from my grip but as soon as I open my eyes, my good sense is fucked.

Without a second thought, I punched her right in the face. As she fell, Ag returned with a powerful right. I don't have time to dodge it and I fall to the ground for the pain. My look was towards Eva.

I can see her life slip from her fingers.

I took the strength to get up and I threw myself at Ag, making her fall on the ground. Putting myself on top of her, I start to fill her face with fists, until my knuckles turned red because of her blood.

Emma, who was watching the scene powerless, pulls me away from her. I even try to jump her again but Emma grabs me by the face.

"Hey, hey, calm down tiger. She learned her lesson. Now let her run away like a fuckin rabbit."

That being said, Ag spits out some blood before getting up completely and running away.
Eva.

I turn to her: Cooper was continuing to give her CPR.

I run to her and kneel next to her body.

"How did it happen?!" I ask panicked.

"I don't know," says Cooper with tears in his eyes, "I just saw Ag raising her hands and then Eva was in the water and I-"

Cooper couldn't formulate an entire sentence and his hands were shaking.
I move him aside and start CPR more aggressively.

"Please Eva," my voice was trembling with tears, "Please don't leave me."

With the hope that slowly faded away, I feel my heart break more and more.

At one point Eva spits out all the water she had swallowed and opens her eyes.
I didn't want to believe it.

"Eva!" I grab her and hold her in my arms while she does the same. I walk a few inches away just to kiss her. Her lips were soft, almost silken, and pillowy against my own. I could feel the soft tickle of her breath beneath my nose, fingers carding through her hair as we breathed each other in.

"Ooookey, Anna? Don't you think it's better to let her catch her breath?" interrupts Emma, making us laugh. Not just us but everyone present.

"Okay guys, show's over. Please get back in the house to get drunk, thank you." Sab yells at people staring at us.

I look back at Eva, who didn't look away from me even for a moment. Her smile was so soft.
I caress her face. "Don't do it again, I was afraid that-" I try to finish the sentence but I feel her lips touch mine again.

"Shh," she whispers, "Thank you."

I can't stop smiling. I hold her again like it's the last time I touch her.

Meanwhile, someone from the window looked at the scene with disappointment.
