I'm here at the library waiting for her. I'm feeling nervous and excited at the same time. Nervous because I know she is still mad at me and excited because I will get close to her again and maybe, just maybe we can work things out.
I'm sitting at the corner of the library just scrolling through my phone when I heard whispers around.
"She is really beautiful," a guy said.
"I'm hella straight but damn only Sabrina can bend me," a girl said and all her friends agreed
"Bakit ba kasi di sya nagpapaligaw?" one student also asked his friend.
"Shit! Ang sexy talaga" a girl whispered.
These and a lot more.
The librarian complained about the noise the students made so everyone went silent.
The reason for all this commotion is now standing in front of me. And here I am staring at her in awe.
"Follow me," she said as she made her way outside the library. I can smell her scent trail as I followed her. The vanilla and amber notes of her scent are alluring. ugh!
I miss her.
By the time we got out, we were approached by a guy. She handed Sabrina a bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates. Sabrina seems shocked about it.
"Jethro, we already talked about this right?" Sab said with disappointment
"I know, I know Sab. But please can you at least give me another chance? Please Sab? I will woo you and make you like me back. Please Sab? Please?" The guy begged.
"Jethro please stop." she sounded a little angry.
But the guy ignored what she said and he then grabbed Sab's wrist and tried to pull her.
I cannot stand it anymore and intervene.
"Jethro! Jethro, right? She already said no. What part of it you don't understand?" I said as I gently pulled Sab back.
"Jethro, kung di ka pa tititgil, irereport kana namin sa council" Milliend said authoritatively.
The guy went silent and just walked away.
I'll make sure to tell dad about him. He left with a strange look and I'm sure that he will not stop bothering Sab.
I got back to my senses when Milliend pulled Sab's hand from me. I didn't notice that I'm still holding her wrist.
"I'm sorry," I said to them.
"Just give me your number and I will just text you about all the stuff you'll need," she said
She looks tired and irritated by what just happened.
I then gave her my number and without saying a word they left.
I looked at them walking away and I can't help to worry about her.
~
I decided to go to my dad's office and talk to him about that student, Jethro. He said that he will look into it. We ordered food and ate at his office. After eating I decided to leave.
"Dad, I'll go first. Would that be okay?"
"Go ahead Clay, I still have some things to do"
I bid my goodbye to dad and kissed his cheek.
It's around 8:30 in the evening, I decided to grab a cup of coffee before I head home. I saw a cafe near our school the other day, that was not there when I left. I guess it's a new one.
As I opened the door a familiar voice welcomed me. And to my surprise there she is standing impassively behind the counter.
The small shop is packed with students from Milfort University. Most of them are studying but some, although having books and notepads at the top of their table are not even studying, they are just staring at her. If I can just poke their eyes. Ugh!
"Hi! Welcome! what can I get you?" She asked with an awkward smile.
She is wearing their uniform, a white polo shirt with the cafe's logo on the left side pocket and a black apron on top of it. Her hair was all tied up in a messy bun and she is wearing simple makeup. She still looks so damn beautiful! The owner of this cafe must be so lucky to have her as an employee because she brings money to the table.
"Hello?! I said, "What can I get for you?" She repeated as she waved her hand in front of my face
I mentally groaned if she only knew that her beauty is making me dazed.
"Uhmm y-yeah yeah! o-one t-tall iced americano p-please" Great! I just wanted to disappear right now.
"Will you have it here or to go?"
I was supposed to have it to go but I decided to stay because of those guys that keeps on staring at her.
"I'll have it here please."
I paid for my drink and luckily I found an empty table on the side.
I sat there and just scrolled through my phone the whole time while I took glances at her from time to time. An hour later the creepy dudes left and some other students started to prepare themselves to leave.
Suddenly, there's a heavy downpour.
I looked at her and her face looked worried.
I waited for everyone to leave. Most of them were fetched by their drivers. I walked towards the counter to talk to her.
"Masyadong malakas ang ulan kung dun ka pa rin nakatira sa apartment mo ihahatid na lang kita" I calmly said.
"No, It's okay. I can manage."
"Sab, sige na wag nang makulit. Wala ka ng masasakyan."
She looked at me stunned and rolled her eyes. She is so cute. Damn, she still has that effect on me.
"I'll just wait for you in the car" I left without waiting for her reply.
A few moments later she was walking towards my car. I opened the door from the inside on the shotgun seat. Silence enveloped the car. No one dared to talk. I just stole glances at her. We arrived at her apartment in just a short amount of time. I looked to her side and to my surprise she was already looking at me.
"Thank you! Ingat sa pag uwi" she said and left.
Did she just say "ingat"? Oh my goodness!
I miss her. I miss her so badly.
