"Clay?" I heard Nanay and Kuya Raul asked
"Ehe opo Clay po talaga name ko. Nagulat lang po talaga ako nun kaya Lay po nasabi ko"
"So ikaw si Clay? Clay Milfort" Kuya Raul asked now with his much louder voice
"Shhh! Raul! Tumahinik ka nga dyan at baka marining ka ni Sabrina sa taas"
"Opo ako nga po. I guess alam niyo na po yung nangyari samin ni Sab" I said looking down
They just nodded in response.
A few moments later Kia and Jaxe arrived.
"Nakita na ba si Yuki? Nasaan na si Sabrina? Kia asked as they walked toward the living room
"Opo ma'am Kia, si ma'am Clay po nakakita sa park"
"Mabuti naman. Nasaan po si Sab nanay?
"Umakyat na sa taas iha. Mukhang pagod na pagod na yun. Kumain na ba kayong tatlo?
"Opo tapos na po. I'm Jaxe po by the way"
"Mag s-stay na na lang po ako dito ngayong gabi nanay"
"Mabuti pa nga Kia anak at gabi na rin. Kayo bang dalawa? Clay? Jaxe?"
"I have to go na po nanay check ko pa yung mga photos kanina" I said
"I'll stay!" Jaxe said while raising her right hand
"I'll stay po, I want to check on Sab right away when she wakes up" she continued.
She is kidding, right? This girl is really getting on my nerves.
"I'll stay na lang din po nanay," I said that make everyone look at me
"I want to make sure she is fine po," I said with a smile on my face
"Sige mabuti pa nga. Marami naman vacant rooms dito sa bahay"
Everyone settled in their different rooms.
I lay on the bed looking up to the ceiling thinking about her and didn't realize that I already fell asleep.
The next day, I was awakened by a knock on my room. I stood up right away and opened it and it was Nanay Irma.
"Clay, anak baba na at kakain na tayo ng agahan"
"Okay po nanay susunod po ako"
After I washed my face and brush my teeth using the toiletries given by Nanay Irma last night I went down right away to the dining room.
"Good Morning" I greeted them
Everyone is there except for Sab.
As I sat down I heard footsteps getting nearer and nearer.
"Good Morning Iha, kain na tayo" Nanay Irma greeted her
She nearly jumped out of her skin when she saw me and Jaxe.
I stood up right away and greeted her.
"Good morning Sab. We decided to stay to check up on you as soon as you woke up. We are all worried about you"
Jaxe also stood up and went to her.
"Are you okay now?" she said while holding her face
Kay aga-aga nambwibwisit agad tong si Jaxe. Nakakainis talaga! May pa hawak hawak pang nalalaman.
"I'm fine now guys. Thank you all for your concern" she said as she sat down on the empty chair beside me
I grabbed the rice platter and handed it to her.
She was shocked for a bit but still got the platter from me without saying anything.
The whole breakfast time was really awkward for all of us or I don't know if it's just me.
Thank God Kia decided to talk.
"Sab, we will have a meeting today at the office and the next shoot for the calendar will be next month in El Nido"
I saw Sab nod and continued eating.
"Sab, do you want us to take your dog to the vet to check if she is okay?" I heard Jaxe asked
I saw Sab looking at Jaxe raising her brows.
"She is not just a dog but she is my daughter and her name is Yuki. And thank you for the offer I really appreciate it but Kuya Raul and I are going to take her to the vet instead.
I mentally throw my fist up in the air. It feels like I won the lottery.
We finished eating and I bid everyone goodbye and left.
It's 30 minutes past 10 in the morning as I arrived at our office.
"Good morning knight in shining armor or should I say knight in Desmosedici RR? May pa I can get you there faster than a car ka pa ha" Drew said making quotation marks in the air
"Shut up Drew!"
"Nakita na ba yung aso nya?"
"Drew, don't ever say that in front of her"
"Say what?"
"She doesn't like to call her daughter a dog"
"What?" He asked confused.
"You heard me don't dare to call her daughter a dog. She is Yuki her daughter and yes we found her already"
He gave up rebutting and just nodded.
"Did you finish editing the photos?"
"Si Bia nag edit baliw na baliw na Sabrina mo."
"Drew! Ano ba? Pag may nakarinig sayo"
"Ano naman boss? May past naman kayo nun e"
"I just don't want everyone to know okay? And besides, just like what you said it is already in the past. Ayoko munang guluhin siya." I said and left him
I went to my office to check the edited pictures and send them to the twins for approval.
All the pictures, as expected, are all beautiful.
She is beautiful.
Still and will always be.
