Sabrina Jasmin Delvan
Today is my birthday. As planned we rented the whole resort. It's just a simple celebration. I Invited a few friends from the industry and of course Jakey and Milly's family.
We had a lot of fun as we enjoyed the food and each other's company. Jakey and Milly even prepared some games for us.
After the games, some handed me their gifts which I told them not to— but they insisted.
Jakey and Milly then came close with a huge box and grin on their faces.
"Happy Birthay Sabrina! Sana tumino kana at mabuhay ka hanggang gusto mo" They both said and laughed
"You have to open this gift now," Jakey said
They handed me the box with holes on the side.
"Bakit may mga butas sa gilid? I asked
"Just open it Sab!" it was Milly
As I opened the box a few balloons came out and there I saw the cutest baby ever!
I got so excited that I didn't notice that I'm already crying.
They gifted me a female Bichon Frisé with a pink scarf on her neck that made her so beautiful.
I carried the puppy and hugged her tightly as everyone stares at us.
"What will you call her?" Milly asked
"She is white as snow and so beautiful. I'll call her Yuki"
"Such a pretty name," Jake said
I hugged both of them still crying.
"Thank you so much for the gift. I love you both so much"
As the party ended, we were now on our way home, Kuya Raul driving with Nanay Irma on her side while I and Yuki were at the back.
"Kuya Raul, let's go to the mall tomorrow and buy Yuki some stuff please?"
"Yes po ma'am"
"Sama ka po nanay?
"Naku hindi na iha kayo na lang ni Raul. Nung huli akong sumama sumakit tuhod ko sayo"
"Okay po nanay" I answered laughing at nanay Irma's remarks
As we got home I fed Yuki with the food that Jakey and Milly gave earlier. I also bathe her after eating.
I'm so excited to buy her clothes and toys.
The next day, I woke up with Yuki giving me morning licks— greeting me good morning.
"Good Morning baby," I said as I kiss her
I went down to the kitchen and found Nanay Irma and Kuya Raul having breakfast.
"Good Morning Kuya and Nanay" I greeted them
"Kuya, can you walk Yuki after you eat so that I can take a bath and prepare?"
"Okay po ma'am, ako na po bahala"
I smiled and went back upstairs. As I was about to get inside the bathroom my phone rang and it was Kia.
"What's up?" I said as I answer the call
"Yo Sab! I know you are on break from your acting gigs but just a heads up, I think Sun Film will offer you a movie and the agency is accepting it. They haven't said what the movie is all about but all I know is that it will be a love triangle. Interesting right? We will have a meeting this afternoon to discuss the movie. Let's just meet at the agency later. Okay?"
"Alright Kia. Bye!"
After some series and movies, I took a break and focused on my modeling career which is my first love. And besides, filming is really no joke. Sleepless nights that turn into days. Even bad weather will not stop production. I even got hospitalized twice before because of over-fatigue.
It's been 7 months since my last acting job so I think I'm ready to accept this new offer.
After buying Yuki some food, clothes, and toys, I dropped her home to Nanay Irma while I and Kuya Raul went straight to the office for the meeting.
It's now half past four in the afternoon and we are in the conference room with my agency's representative and a lawyer same goes for Sun Film and of course my manager Kia.
The movie is a love triangle between me, a girl, and a guy. It's not the typical story that revolves around the guy and there are two ladies battling for his love.
In this movie, I'll be the protagonist and I will be stuck in a love triangle between a girl and a guy.
Kia is right, it's interesting.
The filming will start after two months after everything is finalized. They are still looking for the perfect actress and actor that will fit the character.
After the meeting Kia and I decided to have dinner together.
"So, how is your dog?" Kia asked
"Excuse Me! She is my daughter and her name is Yuki"
"I'm sorry okay! Fine! How is Yuki? Happy now?"
"She is doing well, alright," I said as I rolled my eyes at her.
"Let's go to the bar and have some drinks"
"Yan ka nanaman Sab eh. Hindi pwede may meeting tayo ulit bukas with a different client and this time it's a modeling gig for you"
"KJ! Onti lang naman eh di naman tayo magpapakasabog!" I said while I batted my eyes.
"Fine! Just a few drinks Sabrina. Please lang ayoko maguwi nanaman ng lasing"
"Dami mo pang sinabi. And Don't worry hindi ikaw maguuwi sakin, si Kuya Raul" I answered as I laughed out loud.
It's almost 3 AM. I'm now at the bar counter, Kia left at around 10:30 PM. She said she needs to drop by the office to get some paperwork done for the meeting tomorrow.
As I'm on my— I don't know how many shots I took already when I felt someone sitting beside me. I don't know if that someone is a girl or a boy all I know is he or she smells so freaking good.
"Hi," I heard her say. As I face her I don't know if I'm just drunk or what but she looks like someone who is very familiar.
But that is impossible I thought.
"Hey!" I replied
"Are you alone?"
"I came here with a friend but she already left"
"You look familiar. Have we met before?" I asked
"Oh really?" She replied
"Yeah! Someone from my past that I'm still trying to forget."
She looked shocked but she didn't answer me back. I guess she thinks I'm crazy. I just shrugged it off and ordered another drink from the bartender.
"Sab, tama na tinext ko na si Kuya Raul na sunduin ka" Mike, the bartender said
"Luh! Paladesisyon to! Ayoko pa umuwi. Just one more Mike, just one more shot and I'm done"
Mike was about to give me another shot when Kuya Raul arrived
"Ma'am, tara na po"
"Last na lang kuya. One for the road"
"Ma'am tama na po, lasing na po kayo"
"No, I'm not. Right? What's your name again?" I looked at the girl beside me
"I'm pretty sure you are," she said
I groaned as I stood up but suddenly my world started spinning and that's the last thing I remember.
