"Sab, I just called to remind you that tomorrow is the first day of filming. I will be there at seven o'clock in the morning. You better be prepared. We cannot be late on our first day Sabrina!" It was Kia on the other line
"I know! Naka prepare na po mga gamit ko. Nasa van na lahat kanina pa po ma'am" I answered sarcastically.
"Good! I'll see you tomorrow then. Bye"
The next day, we reached the location at around nine in the morning. As soon as we arrived, hair and makeup were organized and once it was done the filming started right away.
Since it's just our first day it is a little bit awkward between me and my costars. But it is a normal thing especially when it's your first time working together.
The director called the three of us.
"Now, I know this is new to you guys especially with the girls so we will shoot the kissing scene right away to ease the tension and awkwardness so that you guys will be comfortable with each other."
We were given thirty minutes to memorize and practice our lines. First up is me and Roco.
"Roll camera. Mark. Action!" the director stated.
Script 1
Setting: Outside Hani's Apartment. Late at night. Heavy pelting rain.
Jae: "Bakit ba hindi na lang ako Hani? Ano bang meron sa babaeng yun na wala ako? Lahat naman ginawa ko Hani. Please give me a chance to prove my love for you please"
(Jae holds both Hani's hands as he sobs)
Hani: "Jae, please. I already told you na I've already fallen in love with her. Sinabi ko naman na agad sayo nung naramdaman kong mahal ko na si Ria. I'm so sorry for hurting you but it is better to let you know than leave you blindsided"
(Hani tried to walk away but Jae pulled her in for a kiss, Hani struggling to stop Jae)
Hani: Please stop this Jae, Please Stop!
(Hani fighting hard to push Jae while sobbing)
Jae: I'm sorry Hani. I'm really sorry.
(Jae left running to his car and Hani crying on the floor getting drenched)
"Cut!" the director shouted
As I heard the director, I stood up right away and wiped my tears. The assistant quickly handed me a towel to dry myself up.
That was intense. Grabe si direk fist scene pa lang heavy drama na agad.
"Good job you two! Oh, see? Okay na kayo? Hindi na awkward diba?" the director said chuckling
"Galing mo girl!" it was Roco
"Ikaw din kaya. Ayeeee kiniss nya ako" I said teasing him
"Girl! Eww inisip ko na lang Jowa ko ang hinalikan ko kanina"
"Gago!" I replied and we both laughed.
"Okay next scene, Sabrina and Nikki, it's your turn now" Direk called us
Script 2
Setting: Beach. Sunset.
Ria: Hani, you are always vividly emblazoned in my mind since the first day I saw you. Thank you for letting me love you despite everything. I love you with all my heart.
(Bodies pressed together. Ria holding Hani's face with both hands)
Hani: Thank you for not giving up on me. You have my heart and I love you madly.
(Ria closes the gap between them. Eyes closed. Tongue pressed between parted lips.)
"And Cut!" the director called
Finally, that took forever.
"Very good girls! I should say, bagay talaga kayo." the director continued
Both of us smiled at each other and high five.
"That is so freakin' hot girls. Gagi kinilig pempem ko sa inyong dalawa" it was Roco teasing us.
"Gago ka talaga Roco," we both said together which earned a loud laugh from the three of us.
Day one ended well. We finished at exactly 5 am the next day.
As we are packing our things and preparing to leave, Nikki went to my make-up room to give me a breakfast meal.
"Hi Sab, here I brought some breakfast for you, Kia, and kuya Raul," she said shyly
"Nag abala ka pa. Thank you Nikki. Ikaw ba kumain na?"
"Hindi pa. Sa bahay na ako kakain."
"What? Here you can eat the other one, kumain na si Kuya Raul. Dito ka na lang din kumain if you want."
"Are you sure?" She asked
"Oo naman. Here." I said as I handed her the food
"So, how is your first day? I asked her
"Nakakapanibago. This is the first major break I'm going to have so I'm really nervous but excited at the same time. Thank you sa pag aassist sakin kanina"
"You're welcome. Dyan din naman ako galing the only difference is, walang tumulong sakin kaya alam kong mahirap"
She nodded and gave me a smile.
We finished eating and bid our goodbyes.
