SNOW
I COULDN'T BELIEVE THAT bitch left us, and Patrick with him. I also couldn't even believe I kissed him. My heart was full of hatred towards Aaron. I breathed heavily, inhaling and exhaling roughly. When I was hit with that rocket launcher everything went black. I was brought into a room that was completely empty and made of concrete. Or was it? I got up off my feet and swung my leg back, and jammed my foot into the wall. I whined in pain and knelt back down to inspect my foot. The ceiling opened and John was thrown in. So that answers my question. I think I just might be able to... I tried to stretch my wings, but they wouldn't budge. I began to panic and scramble across the room, thinking they cut off my wings. I felt around my back and felt nothing. Since John is out, I took off my shirt and tried feeling for my wings again. This time I was able to feel them. I sighed in relief.
"So they didn't experiment on you?" John asked. I jumped and covered myself with my shirt.
"What the hell is the matter with you?" He cocked his head, looking at me curiously.
"What?"
"You see me without a shirt, and you just act casual? Acknowledge that you can see me, you pervert!"
"I can't." He said, now growing a smirk. Ignoring his expression, I moved over to him, dropping my shirt. I waved my hands in front of him but his eyes didn't focus or flinch.
"John?" I asked, "Are you serious?" He nodded solemnly. "Why would you lie to us?"
"Because I didn't want to upset Aaron."
"Why would you care about whether he's upset or not?"
"Because he protected us, cared for us, and did everything for us. I know he loves me, but I don't want to make him sad, that's just going to add more to his plate." I frowned looking up.
"Well, we're gonna be here for a while." I spoke too soon. The ceiling crashed and blew up to a thousand pieces, as gazzy lowered himself through.
