Epilogue
--
"Look at Scelera, Hayatti. She's our angel," I heard Enzo said with a smile on his face, talking to our three-year-old son, pertaining to his twin sister who innocently picks flowers.
The skies are blue. Fun formation of clouds are seen covering the sunlight that blinds our sight. Under this big acacia tree, we sat on a red checkered blanket, laid flat in the yellow-greens with a picnic basket beside me, various of picnic foods in front of us.
Up from here, I can see the busy city down the hill like cars are moving ants coming here and there, filling the roads. Near us is our three-year-old girl, Scelera who is busy picking fresh yellow magnolias wearing her as beautiful as ever, yellow laced dress that matches her morena skin. She looks so adorably pretty with that. I can give up everything just to see her in that scene again.
"And this is your mommy Cindy, Hayatti, she is our goddess.
He laughed. I stared at him and his perfections. How his messy black hair that grew long after he beat cancer fits his face that ressembles Scelera a lot. How his laughs brings music to my ears even after all these years. How he carried Hayatti in his arms. He's so imperfectly perfect.
He giggled and pinch my cheek making me frown. Akala mo, wala siyang pisngi, eh.
Bago pa man ako makapagreklamo ay namalayan ko na lamang ang pagtakbo sa akin ni Scelera at pag-upo nito sa aking mga hita, smilingly while smelling the magnolias she's holding.
"Mommy, this is for you," she said and gave me one. She looked at his daddy Enzo and also give him one. "Daddy, this is for you." Then she put another magnolia on Hayatti's head making him frown. "And this is for Yati," she said and chuckled.
His dad also chuckled as he tuck the magnolia on Hayatti's back of his ears before saying, "Nako, mag-aaway kayo ng kambal mo niyan."
As always. He's kind of cold and emotionless. He's also behave unlike Scelera who likes running.
"That's my boy," Enzo said proudly na akala mo'y sa wakas ay may maganda na siyang naituro sa anak niya kahit pa puro lang kabalbalan ang lumalabas sa bibig niya.
I smiled. I watch them laugh, I listen to their noises, and I mark this moment in my memory. Watching them makes me feel complete. They are my world. They are my everything. They are more than I can ever ask for. I can give up forever just to be with them.
"Mommy?" they all called in chorus while I was spreading strawberry jam on the bread.
"Hmm?" I replied.
"We love you so much."
I was stopped. I looked at them and found my eyes locked in Enzo's gazes. "Always and forever, Mommy."

"Cindy!"
