Humanity

Humanity is a twisted race,

hiding behind an innocent face.

The end is no cliche,

humanity is already dead.

We're just waiting for decay,

for the oceans to turn red.

Why are we afraid of death?

Why not take our fatal breath?

My eyes are open.

This world is broken.

Humanity was born to lie,

no truth, do we even try?

We kill with no remorse,

just to gain through force.

We're creatures with no souls,

selfish and twisted goals,

Betrayal all around,

no, I will not make a sound.

So now, what will happen?

I will never trust again.
